Bank reversed a check I deposited through their app. Said it was excepted. Thought it was all good they reversed it because of a bad image 5 days after. Not my fault that happened, I don't have the check. Told me to call customer service. Almost an hour wait. Who has time to wait 57 minutes? I'm disabled and on a very tight budget so that 95.00 dollars means I I have to buy cheaper food items which are not good for an insulin dependent diabetic with neuropathy. Plus several other medical and mental health issues

I sold my condo to someone who was using Dollar Bank as their lender. Dollar Bank is terribly slow with their processes. We were contracted to close on a specific day but they kept pushing back the date. I did everything I was supposed to do and the Title Company was ready to close but Dollar Bank was not. They were really slow about responding to phone calls and providing necessary information that is holding up the process. For being a small bank their lending department is sub-par at best. If Dollar Bank is your lender be prepared to have delays in closing

My checking account was overdrafted for the first time in about a year by 2 cents literally. I was charged a overdraft fee immediately of 36 dollars. Before the fee occured i had put money into the account but it didnt clear yet so i called account services and was on hold for 40 minutes to be told based on my relationship and time with the bank (I've been with them for 5 years) they would not take the fee away. For literally 2 cents. I owed them 36 dollars with an half hour. I will be switching banks. I strongly suggest that you do not open an account with them. But on the bright side I called the branch I had opened the account with and they were more than happy to take the fee away due to the circumstances. Account services for this bank are not helpful. Be mindful.

their technology is so old. With my citizens bank and PNC bank accounts it takes 1-60 min max with dollar it can take 3-4 days and they will not even provide an update. I had to send money for my mortgage online and have been on the phone for 2 hours with 4 agents. They try but every agent gave me a different solution. Its sad I would be ok if it was the 1980's or 90's but it's sad. Yes they are not a nationwide bank but wow the service is just "sad" and they know it too. So in short get another bank that is bigger.

Local branch is pleasant to deal with and deserves 5 stars but the online system is such garbage. They really need to find a new website developer, hopefully someone from the 21th century.

Dollar Bank's online banking is absolute trash and everything is more complicated than necessary. I like that it's a local bank, but the mom and pop feel isn't cute in a bank.

Been a customer for about 10+ years and the past week and a half has proven that I need to switch banks asap and that it's worth the hassle of switching over any automatic withdraws I have going. I was awaken on a Tuesday morning to a fraud alert for several transactions totaling $150. I jumped up immediately to talk to card services, verified my information, confirmed it was fraud and the representative immediately cancelled my card and ordered another one. It was further explained that I would need to contact my branch to get my refund and that it should take about 2 business days. Ok, Great! I contact my branch and the person says "I don't know why they told you to call us. You need to call card services back." I call the 800 number back and was told that an investigation was going to be opened and a provisional credit would be issued. Ok, Fine! By Friday, I still hadn't received the credit. Called the 800 number and the Rep explained AGAIN, that I needed to contact my branch. This time, I physically went in to the branch and the young lady I spoke with said, "unfortunately, they give misinformation but you really should speak to someone at card services." Imagine my irritation at this point. I went out to my car and sat right in Dollar Bank's parking lot to call card services yet AGAIN! This time I received a gentleman with a little bit of attitude. I explained my situation, expressed my frustration and he replied with "the investigation hasn't been started yet." SINCE TUESDAY????? SINCE TUESDAY! So you all alert me to fraud early on Tuesday morning and the investigation hasn't even been started yet? Wow! Now, today, 4 days since THAT phone call, I still don't have my money. I call card services AGAIN, and today, only today, did someone tell me that it would take 10 business days for me to receive the provisional credit. Two weeks? How is that provisional? Most banks refund the money while the investigation is taking place. If they conclude it wasn't fraud, they take their money back. It is only $150 but it is MY $150 and I don't have it to give away or to wait two weeks to get it back. On top of that, I won't even have my bank card for 2 weeks. I'm very disappointed to say the least. Not what I expected from a well known financial institution in which I have been a customer for several years. There was no sense of urgency, lack-luster customer service and no sense of compassion. Not one time did anyone say, we are so sorry you experienced this and we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. Instead there was a sense of "sucks to be you." I think some training for your representatives and call monitoring needs to take place so they don't continue to give your customers misinformation. I may not be as agitated had I been told on the FIRST phone call that this could take 2 weeks or if I had not been ping-ponged between card services and my local branch. Not a good look at all!!! Some policies and procedures need to be reviewed.

Went to open a business account and deposit 20,000.00 to start but because of the incompetent employees who work at this bank. Was told TOTALLY different DOCUMENTATION needed with each teller I spoke to and they have a floater representative that you cannot contact because she is always driving around. Glad I found out how stupid they are before opening a business with them dummies. Do not go to this bank. Maybe because they are new.

My four stars are solely for the Waterworks Mall location. I have used the drive-through a few times, and always received nice, professional service from someone who is not impatient or just being diplomatic.

Many companies are using the Covid19 as an excuse to provide terrible customer service. I have good news for anyone wanting to bank with Dollar Bank. Dollar Bank has always given terrible customer service so they dont need Covid as an excuse to provide the world worst customer service they have consistently been giving since i became a customer with them. Thankyou Dollar Bank for your consistency.
