I stop today at dollar general store at 3060 sussex ave Pittsburgh bought a gift card and and saw an employee tried to active and can not complete and call manager to come to solved problem but can not fix it and gave the gift card along with a receipt so tried to redeem gift card at register right away and it was not valid when I complained it the manager gave a worst behavior and tried to cover up the problem and threatened me to stop complaining for the invalid gift or she will call police
I don’t know whether complain for it is illegal??
Compared to two years ago when I bought a gift card at giant Eagle and was valid I recently received a replacement right away along with all smiles faces of giant Eagle employees

Hate this location all because of the female manager. That gremlin is ugly inside and out. Get ANYONE off the street would run that place better than her

Definitely an awesome location because every time when i do come here to buy some items their employees are very friendly along with the managers are very helpful to help every customer with their problem so i definitely do recommend this one.

Would be nice if employees answered the phone for customers who have questions. Instead what do we get? A disconnected tone as if the phone is taken off the hook on purpose

The manager Tiffany Marshall is the worst thing that happened to this place. I have witnessed her be extremely rude to elderly customers and made comments such as "I know where you live" to customers. I have shopped here for years. Il never give dollar general another cent until Tiffany Marshall is let go.

I have been going here for a while on the weekends but after the latest trip, I will never return. Prior to this latest incident, I have noticed the people that work there are becoming more and more disgruntled. You either get a checkout person who won't stop taking or someone who's better suited to work in the back. The latest incident, the guy checking me out was completely irritated as soon as I walked up to the register. I tried to make a joke about something to lighten him up a bit and I could tell he wasn't having a good day. He was bagging my stuff, which fit in my shopping basket, and was throwing them all over the place. He ran out of room on his check out area and began handing items to me after he rang them up. I asked why he couldn't put them in a bag on his bag spinner and can he put more than one item in a bag..I mean my stuff was all over the place, including in my hand at this point. He didn't like that comment. It was a complete disarray. Then he completely walked away in the middle of the sale. The guy next to him called up another person to finish. I can spend my money elsewhere.

Save your time and money. My wife had an upset stomach. The head misfit at this location felt the need to close early. I tried to explain my needs. Obviously he had his own agenda. Being a person in customer service this is a NO NO

So much potential. Never stocked. Dirty and lines are a joke. It's a shame. There are a few good workers but can't make up for short staffing and lack of leadership.

I hardly ever get to go to Dollar General because of my schedule. So when I choose to go it happens to be at 10:30 . What do you ? The store that's supposed to be open to 11 of course closed at 10. Is this a regular practice for the store? I'd like to know so that I don't have to drive all the way there just to get to a closed store. Thanks

This store is unreal. Dairy section completely bare , set of coolers still broken after several weeks. Restocking is terrible here. I only keep trying because it's only few yards from home
