This may be a good place for some but it wasn't for me. I signed up for the level 1 beginners course under the impression it would be for beginners, newbies, for people who have never touched a pole, it wasn't. Over half of the 18 person group had been to the establishment before and some had even taken the course before. I didn't feel comfortable as it was not what I expected. The instruction lacked detail. The instructor was a sweet girl, 100% but she didn't go over techniques or any technical things. Nothing was gone over step by step. It was literally just her doing a move & telling us to do it. That's it. I signed up for an instruction based newbie/beginners course, not a mirror me course with experienced students. Full transparency, I've enclosed the exact description for their level 1 course. The sanitation practices leave a lot to be desired. Yes, you wipe down the pole with alcohol after you use it but that's it. I almost put my hand in a WAD OF SPIT while doing the cooldown workout on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. Lastly, the actual establishment leaves a lot to be desired behind the scenes of the perfectly angled & curated pictures you see here. 1. There is a single bathroom in an old, moldy smelling basement with water leaking on the floor. 2. There's nowhere to keep your belongings secure as the only storage is plywood boxes built onto the walls. What you see is definitely not what you get because they've carefully omitted any pictures of these places from their public accounts. You'd think a place that's been around for 15 years would have upgraded or renovated SOMETHING but nope. When I reached out to inform them I was not comfortable with continuing the course because it wasn't truly for beginners or being on a pole at all after the horrible first class I had, I was told my only options were to take a newbie class on Mondays at 7:15. Take private lesson or forfeit my $150 entirely. While I understand policies & waivers were signed they were signed while being under the impression that it was a beginners class I'd be taking. That the establishment I was going into would have clean restrooms & somewhere to safely store my belongings. I received none of that. So, I'm writing this review so other TRUE beginners will understand what they're getting into. There's lots of reviews of ppl that had a great experience with this company & I'm happy for them. I'm just not one of them. I know they'll respond by saying they gave me options but I already listed them above & the options don't mean anything if the customer doesn't feel comfortable & never wants to come into your business ever again. So forget the "options". All this place needed to do was have a little empathy for someone that genuinely was misled by their course description but they only care about money. So, I hope the $150 worth it for you to have lost a customer who will absolutely tell everyone they encounter to never take a class here. Thats a $150 mistake I'll have to accept but you better believe I'll never make it again.

I absolutely love this studio! Mysti and Jill provide exceptional expertise and have a creative vision on learning the art of pole dancing. I came to Fitness with a Twist 2.0 with zero pole experience and it has been a fun adventure learning so much more than I originally expected. Through progress tracking and consistent encouragement, I believe anyone can succeed in achieving their goals here at this studio! Classes are conveniently located on E Carson Street in the Southside of Pittsburgh. The studio is clean and boasts a welcoming environment. The class/workshop offerings are plentiful as well <3 Thank you for an amazing Pole Level 1 experience. I can’t wait to return for level 2 and beyond!

I took my first beginner class here last week, it was very fun and I signed up for the level one course bc I had such a great time and I love a good work out that isn’t the gym( ya girl was SORE the next day) the instructor was great at breaking things down, She was encouraging and the class was easy to follow and not overwhelming for a first timer but still got me on the pole doing things I didn’t think I could. Looking forward to my level one course in November!

This is the studio that made me fall in love with pole and dance. It gave me the confidence to try the things I kept putting off because I thought I wouldn’t fit in. From The instructors and owner down to the students, everyone wants you to succeed and I’m forever greatful to have had those women in my life. If you’re debating on taking a class here, do it. I promise you won’t regret it.

This is a good place to go to! The teachers are kind and enthusiastic about their jobs — they’re really here to help you and challenge you to become a better dancer. ?The classes are filled with happy and friendly people too! Deftly would recommend trying a class, it helped me with getting more confident in how I carry myself.Edit;I’m also a student who’s been coming in for a few months. You can definitely see the changes in how you dance overtime! ?

Went for a private class for a bachelorette party and it was so fun! I was nervous going in but all the staff were very professional but fun at the same time. When they said beginner friendly they meant it and taught us everything we needed to know to be safe and have the most fun. Would recommend!

FWT2.0 is my church. All of the instructors are so nice and helpful. They genuinely want to see everyone meet their pole goals. The community I have found here has just made my heart so full. Everyone cheers each other on. It is such an inclusive and safe space. I feel so lucky to have found it. ❤️

The instructors really care about you and your growth. I came in with a preexisting injury and they showed me how to modify to do everything! I really can’t say how nice everyone is.

I love taking classes here! The instructors are great, especially working with beginners. I completed their level 1 and level 2 series with Susie and she's one of my favorite instructors. The variety of classes is also great. A friend and I really enjoyed the Valentine's themed chair dance workshop they offered in February. I'm looking forward to trying out aerial silks this evening and other classes in the future!
