Gabe’s store sells off-price merchandise, including lots of clothes and some shoes, accessories, health and beauty products, home decor, kitchenware, snack foods, pet supplies, etcetera. Some products are name-brand, and I think that prices are low to moderate.I bought slippers and a couple of housewares, and they had low prices. I waited in line for several minutes to check out. The employees did an OK job.

Prices are cheap for a few products when compared to other equivalent stores, but I had a bad experience in finding the right size as the clothes are not arranged properly.

Gabe's, which used to be called Gabriel Brothers, is a department store chain that sells off-price merchandise (i.e., excess goods that are sold at a discount). Merchandise includes clothing, shoes, handbags, health and beauty products, housewares, some pet supplies, some furniture, some food, etcetera. This particular location of Gabe's is at McIntyre Square shopping center. For years, I have shopped here off and on in the hopes of finding bargains. Today, when I entered the store, two employees were standing near the entrance, but they said nothing to me. I spent time looking through the departments, particularly women's clothing and shoes, pet toys and treats, and snack foods. Because the products are miscellaneous "leftovers," customers must spent time sifting through the racks and shelves to find their preferred products and sizes. I noticed that some products were name-brand (e.g., Adidas, Carhartt, Hurley, Levi's, and Puma), and many other products were less-popular brands. Furthermore, some prices were low, and other prices were moderate. For example, I saw a The North Face jacket for $45 when a comparable value is $100, and I saw a Columbia jacket for $70. Of course, not all products were available in my size.I selected slippers for $10, chip clips for $3, and sponges for $2. These prices were less expensive than other stores' prices for similar products. At the checkout counter, three cashiers were working. The line of customers moved slowly. My cashier said hello, and she accurately scanned my products, removed a security device, and charged my credit card. She opened the box of slippers to make sure that I did not hide and steal other products. I can afford whatever I want, and I have no interest in shoplifting, but I assume that she checks other customers' boxes as well. Please note that this Gabe's store has an Amazon locker in the back near the linens.

This store is a disaster, clothes scattered all over the floor, kidd throwing toys all over the store which parents are in need of correcting their children in a public place!!! But it stems to not having employees who need a job, But what they are paying, I wouldn't work there for no less than $16.50 per hr and an Excellent benefits package $10.00 per hr is back in the 1980s pay more you hire more!!! Just my thoughts!!! I do love the store,.just wish they'd clean it up and stock more stuff.

The store was pretty dirty, floor had spills and dust and dirt. Restrooms were clean and staff was super friendly and helpful.

Always a good time at Gabes. Best pricing for almost anything. Keep a lookout for random finds.

First time in a Gabe's, actually went in to get something from the Amazon locker that's strategically placed at the back corner of the store. Well....it worked. My son and I ended up browsing through the store. We found a few items worth buying at a discounted price. Most of the items seem to be overstocks, things that didn't sell, and so on. I'd go back again if I had more time to browse because, as I said, they do have some things worth buying and not all junk. I'd say it's similar to Burlington. The staff were very nice and helpful, so that made a considerable difference. We ended up buying some super cheap snacks and a pair of sunglasses because I always break them no matter if I pay $5, $50 or $150...I murder sunglasses ?

I like this store I always find stuff but it doesn’t matter what time of day what day rain or shine you wait in line for ATLEAST 20 minutes. It’s almost funny. Every. Time. I normally end up setting my stuff down and leaving

Why does the layout of the store change every. Single. Week. I enjoy Gabe's but the last time I went I waited 25 min to try something on and the lady said someone would come by, no one ever did. I can always find what I need but I could find it easier if the shirts weren't rearranged every 5-10 business days. Still cool. We loves Gabe's

This place is a hit or miss but I somehow always walk away with really great finds. Time is needed here to carefully look around. The household items section is always very tidy and well presented.

This is one of the largest Gabe's stores I've ever been to. They had a TON of variety. Like most Gabe's I've been to, this one is cluttered & messy. But for the discounted prices, can't complain.
