This location is tucked away in the hills and if you do not happen by, you wouldn't notice it. It's in a shopping plaza with a dollar store, laundry, high school/middle school, beer store, liquor store, rent to own, Chinese takeout, etc. The area is bit seedy overall. The small vegetable section often displays wilted or rotten vegetables, so I recommend looking very carefully. It has a full selection of items appropriate for the size of the store. Prices are pretty high (this is true for GE in general), in comparison to the Aldi down the hill from there. Another reason they receive two stars from me is because young sullen and brusque cashiers seem to want to spend more time talking to each other and socializing, instead of paying attention to the customer. Overall the shopping experience is C- and I avoid the place as much as possible.

in marietta, ohio very disrespectful, rude employees need to learn manners. Some employees need to learn people skills and how to speak with customers.

Always crowded but im not sure why. Maybe because it takes forever to checkout with the lack of open registers/employees. Also, the selection is terrible. There is only one aisle for frozen food. Well 2 if you count the aisle for ice cream and dessert stuff. I left the store without buying anything, but luckily there's a beer distributor next door to make that disappointing shopping experience worth the trip out.

Unfortunately this is the Giant Eagle closest to my house, so if we are trying to do quick grocery shopping this is where we wind up. If we are doing a bigger trip or out anyway we will typically go to the Monroeville Giant Eagle. This store tends to be a little dirty and can look run down. I almost never see an employee out anywhere in the store. This could be bad if you need to ask for help of any sort. The selection here isn't the best. However I know this is just a small store and I can't get everything we need here. Normally I see at least one item out in the produce section with mold or that is rotting. Also the fresh herbs tend to be very picked over. Checking out here is never a good experience. Most of the cashiers seem to be distracted and busy with their own things, not helping customers. Also, without fail, I always seem the underwear or butt crack of at least one employee. This should not be the case in their place of work. We will try to do self-checkout to save time but often there will be difficulty with a coupon or the scales. We usually have to go and track down an employee to assist us. This should not be the case. We shop here when we need to but this store leaves a lot to be desired.

It's at the Waterfront so it's convenient since I'm working down here. Lots of parking it an older building I've been spoiled by the market district stores. The food in the hot deli looked really dry but I purchased the ribs and they were really good. They had a special 3 ribs,a side and drink for &6.99 and it was filling. The salad bar looked pretty good to and they had a little dining room to eat in. I'll be back tonight

Anything labeled Market District is actually good quality. They have a nice selection in modest sizes. Try their pizzas, good stuff.

It was a beautiful day, I think most of the cashiers call off.

Be sure to check expiration dates, we've found some *really* old stuff on the shelves before!
