Avoiding Giant Eagle for any reason is always your best option, but if it's Pharmacy you need, run even faster in the opposite direction. Giant Eagle Pharmacy is a total disaster. Incompetent untrained staff, extremely slow service, high prices.

If you can actually find a time where the line isn’t over 30 minutes, they probably wont be able to find your prescription, which they had me waiting for 15 minutes without saying anything. Then wanted me to wait another 10-15 for them to refill it.
I understand that the right aid closing added a lot of customers and I have been going to this pharmacy over 10 years. They obviously meed a cut off limit because they cant handle it.
I’ll be changing pharmacies after this!

Just a complete joke. Long lines only 1-2 registers open . Don’t try calling because you’ll just sit on hold forever and nobody takes your call. Also, has shortened my medicines multiple times without saying a damn thing, then expect you to refill early and pay out of pocket because “its too early for my insurance to cover the refill” This place needs to be investigated and fixed.

Rite Aid was open until 9 pm during the week.
This store has taken on a lot of those customers but has not extended their hours at least until 8 pm.
The lines are long and I waited
on hold for 15 minutes to talk to someone in the pharmacy.

Bad attitude of one of the staff. Staff need to communicate better with customers. Long lines at the time I arrived. Corporate needs to figure a better plan for delivery their products or the population needs to be prescribed less meds. Doctors need to be accountable as well as the population.

The people working at the pharmacy put you on hold for a long time just for their own amusement. They cannot answer questions. They also gave me another patient's full information and their medications list by accident, not even apologizing, and then were asking for my information again. I don't feel comfortable giving out my information or reaching out with this pharmacy anymore if they confused another patient's information with mine. What if the scenario was flip flopped? Unbelievable! Zero accountability, and zero work effort.

I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy to anyone!! First, they’re very unprofessional and rude. Second, they move sooo. I mean very slow! You’ll be in line waiting for almost 30 minutes. And they don’t care. All they do is stand there and lollygag amongst each other while there’s a long line with customers patiently waiting to get their medication. They never answer their phones and I mean NEVER!! I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for a week now and nobody answers the phone! This location is truly the worse. I’m getting my RX’s transferred from this pharmacy to another because the pharmacy staff is truly the worse and they have no care in the world about their customers. I watched them take their good old time looking for an elderly lady’s rx but all while supposedly looking for this lady’s meds, they’re having their own personal conversations instead of doing their jobs! I’ve been to this locations many of times and they’re always rude as if they don’t want to do their jobs and because of that, they treat their customers very poorly!! There is no reason why you can’t get a pharmacist on the phone! It’s overall a ridiculous experience everytime I have to deal with this pharmacy!! And trying to transfer rx to another pharmacy is a pain as well because they don’t answer the phones. My doctor has been calling them for about a week now, throughout the entire day and they still won’t answer that phone! Worst location, the very worst staff, just a horrible experience overall. Take your money and rx to a much better location because this location is the worst!!

Impossible to reach on the phone. Crazy long lines in person. Horribly mismanaged. Only gave me half my prescription because they were out of stock and are now won’t give me the other half weeks later when I literally need it.

Hi, I just went to the Pharmacy the last 2 days, your Pharmacist MAC is wonderful I have to say he was so helpful in getting my special pre cataract surgery eye drops for me! He was patient, apologetic, because I had to wait, and very sweet and friendly!!! He even corrected a mistake. My son also thanked him yesterday upon our return, for helping out his mom! Thanks "big Mac"! ?Your company needs more nice guys like him! Thanks "big Mac" Saved me $$$
