Goodwill used to be a thrift store. A place where people could go to buy used items for a reasonable price. Well those days are gone. I see items here that are heavily marked up. Used and worn clothes that you could buy new for just a few dollars more than what they are charging here. It’s sad really. Won’t be returning. Also, to anyone thinking of donating to goodwill.. don’t.

I was dismayed to hear that discount days were being discontinued. Fortunately, if it has taken effect, it hasn't happened in this particular store,(yet.) The prices keep climbing. Quite the shame, because l see Dollar Tree items, marked up to $3-$5.00. l know they have to pay their workers, but it isn't like they are getting paid grand sums of $.
No changing table in the restroom, nor a place to hang a coat, or, purse. Help us out here, with these little necessities?
In general, the staff remains friendly. Occasionally, l find a decent bargain, but even a blind squirrel can sometimes find a nut. It depends on what I am searching for.

The blue light bathrooms are horrible for the visually disabled.
The store is horrible now ever since the remodel and a fraction of the size for that ridiculous empty classroom.
Incredibly disappointing.

I think someone that works there might be trying to kill their customers. They only have one entrance the customers are allowed to use. It there is every a fire there people will die. Even before the construction fire safety was not a priority. The shelves are messy all the time. The "Owner" of Goodwill sent me a message that closing a main entrance was because of construction and that there are additional entrances out the back. First that entrance was closed nearly a year before constructing started. Also to use the back entrances we have to hope there is nothing blocking them. We do not have the in all the isles where customers are supposed to shop. In an emergency people are going to run to the most obvious entrances. In this case those that make the wrong choice will not make it.I guess it is easy to lie to people when you can pretend to be the "Owner" and not use your real name. The Triangle Shirt company claimed they followed the rules and the workers knew which entrances were locked. I guess those 146 people were committing suicide against those locked doors.

I love to support Goodwill programs. Donations made support so many people and those in need. I am always surprised by the quality of products I see there.

Rude employees. Came here on Father’s Day , 2 female employees (one older black lady & one biracial lady) were incredibly rude to almost every customer. For someone who’s worked for goodwill I’m the past, and shopped here for years, it was quite disturbing to see this ignorance. They were even rude to their other employee which he clearly was mentally challenged, i have a son with autism so this put me in a bad mood. I will never return to East Carson goodwill.
