UPD:Got a response from the company with a specific e-mail. Got in contact with the sales rep of the GC. They explain the delay because of the busy season: my messages got lost.Bumping back two stars.e-commerce is obviously not their strongest virtue. They're just ignoring the messages sent to them via their own site.

Move the amps so they're not right next to the check out line.

Bad service. Have to wait forever for someone to help you. Did end up buying something once and purchased the insurance/extended warranty . Then when something happened they said it wasn’t covered (even though they said EVERYTHING was covered when I bought it) so I basically wasted my money on a warranty they wouldn’t honor.

The service at this location has been excellent. Five stars to the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and low pressure. Five stars for that. However, their guitar selection isn't great if your after something other than strats and LP's or other classic rock type guitars. For this, I'm only going four stars. Other departments have plenty of options.

The place definitely had everything I wanted and then some... Some stuff was a little cheaper and some top of the line stuff was pricey... understandable...

Stopped by to check out some electric drum kits and get some questions about them answered. Walked around looking at the kits for about 20 minutes and never even got a greeting let alone the help I was looking for.So unfortunately I left empty handed.

I ordered a used Zoom Podtrak P4 that was the most reasonably priced (among all other Guitar Centers) after calling & asking a store representative about its condition. It arrived well packed, in perfect condition, and even had fresh alkaline batteries! Thanks for the awesome fast & courteous services, Pittsburgh!

Dillon was very helpful and friendly. I was in town and needed bass strings. He was very precise and maticulous in his work...I will be be sure to reach out to him for any guitar needs. I recommend him to anyone needing a great repair man who takes pride in his work.

The absolute worse guitar center across the country. I’ve toured half my life and this one is half filled with incompetent employees that don’t want to help because they don’t know much about music , instruments , Pro Audio, or how to treat customers that are loyal to their store brand. Don’t waste your time. Buy on Amazon before you go to this place. It’s like having kids with 1st time jobs who should be bagging groceries. And the manager who just loves to name drop , was a waste of 2 hours of my time , politely waiting my turn getting passed by for him to ask someone in drums to help with Pro Audio customers. No offense to drummers but this girl couldn’t figure out how to make a microphone work because it needed phantom power, once the manger came back, he didn’t assist, he simply waited on someone else.Don’t go to THIS Guitar center near Pittsburgh Pa.Stop at another or buy on Amazon. What ever you do , don’t waste your time here.

I hate to be the person to leave a negative review but I feel like people should be warned to prevent wasting their time as I did.For the better part of a decade I’ve owned a mesa dual rectifier solo head that has served me well as a guitarist. However, as of late I’ve moved onto other options as far as amplifiers go and just found it to be overkill for my current needs.I phoned this guitar center location a few times and was told they’d definitely look at it, advising me on the best times to arrive. I’ve sold some gear at this location previously and figured I could probably get some quick cash.Imagine my surprise when (after waiting 5-10 minutes for one of two or so employees to come up) I hoist the amp head onto the counter and the guy looks it over, notices that a small part of the rubber sleeve on the handle is worn away (has NO effect on the actual functionality of the handle, as the metal underneath is still fully intact) and sheepishly informs me that he’ll “have to pass” because a small cosmetic blemish like that will mean “it will just sit in the store and never be sold.” Shocked, I said “ok,” took my gear and left.I understand they’re not required to take anything I bring in, but I feel like they should’ve warned me how particular their standards would be before I drove the better part of an hour and lugged a heavy-as-hell amp head out of a practice space and up and down multiple flights of stairs. I’ve sold gear with small blemishes, emblems missing, etc before and it didn’t seem to be a dealbreaker.Mind you, this is a VERY simple thing to fix, I’ve since googled the part and it’s probably ~$10 with shipping. So I’ll buy the part, unscrew the handle, replace the sleeve and screw it back on, then, after double checking that all the functions of the amp work, sell it myself and retain 100% of profit. Idiots.I don’t have crazy expectations for guitar center and have had good times in the past, but this particular experience means I’ll probably not visit this location again.
