“I know that D1 fitness works!! I thought I could go somewhere and do it on my own and I ended up gaining over 20 pounds back. I love the team that D1 has. They put a program together- you follow it as a group. They’re there to watch to make sure you’re lifting correctly. They motivate you. They have a super app that helps you with nutrition. D1 makes fitness fun, and it’s not the same routine because every workout is different. You are working with a group that really watches out for each other.”

“I swear i have tried EVERY gym in the north hills area and was convinced that i would never find the right one that would keep me motivated until 3 years ago when i joined Volofit.

Volofit has completely changed the game for me. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. The coaches are not only knowledgeable and motivating, but they genuinely care about your progress and overall well-being. “When I was in Pittsburgh for work last fall, I was fortunate enough to spend a week training with the fine folks at Stout Training at their Strip District location. They have loads of classes suited for every level of BJJ skill.

The skill level of the people at the gym is high and still very welcoming. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town next. My huge thanks to Sage and Logan for their incredible welcome and for creating such a vibrant community of practitioners.

I would recommend the gym to anyone looking to learn or further their knowledge of the sport.

“Love love love Level Red Boxing. Finally took the leap a few months ago to try a class. I’ve been going once a week since due to living further north. Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining.All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”

“I was visiting the area and looking for a gym for the weekend and was recommended this gym and let me say this is hands down one of the best gyms i’ve ever been to!! The price for a day pass is MORE than reasonable. Older and newer equipment but everything was clean and well kept, the atmosphere and people really made the place as well. Definitely going to come back here whenever i’m in the area!”

“The one-on-one assisted stretching at StretchLab is amazing! The trained flexologists help different muscles get to what feels like your max stretch and then with breathing for a few seconds and careful, professional assistance, they help your muscles go a little farther. It feels amazing and is so beneficial for increased mobility and flexibility. I’ve been coming weekly for two months so far and I’m so glad! Each flexologist is knowledgeable and attentive to specific needs, including making appropriate and informed modifications for me during my pregnancy, which has been so very helpful! Always feel great after!”

“I decided to reach out to this gym after finding it on Instagram. Coach Adrian called me to talk about my concerns and answered my questions. I am 44 years old and noticed that the home workouts I have always done were not getting me the results that I was looking for. After meeting with Adrian at the gym, I decided to do their 6 week program and have seen major results! I committed to taking classes 3 to 4 times per week and followed the meal plan that was provided for me. In 6 weeks, I feel stronger, I have lost 10 pounds, and my clothes fit better than they have in a long time.I love the variety of class times (they offer 6 class times every weekday!), how every workout feels fun and different, and most of all that I feel challenged and accomplished every time I leave. “Only great things to say about F45 in the Strip District. If working out is something you struggle to find the motivation to do, definitely give F45 a try. It completely changed my outlook on working out and for the first time I understand why people enjoy it!I've gone to 3 sessions so far. Chase, Emily, and Jordan (trainers) made it the most welcoming environment which was a huge part of me coming back, since I'm typically timid walking into any gym. On top of all of this, I have never had such a great work out/ have never felt so great after a work out.10/10 recommend.”

“Absolutely love Orangetheory in Robinson/North Fayette. The front office staff is super helpful and friendly. The coaches are so encouraging and really make sure to show you the correct form. “As someone who hasn't been to a gym or has exercised in well over 2 years, it was extremely intimidating starting. Luckily, I had a friend who started going to Burn at the beginning of the year and she mentioned "bring a buddy" camp. I've wanted to try Burn for a while but wasn't sure if the class setting was for me. This "bring a buddy" camp roped me in and helped me get over the hump of actually going. I loved it so much that I signed up for the 3 week promo and then right into a membership!The trainers are top notch and always pushing you harder. The focus meetings are super helpful too! They really help you narrow down your goals and achieve them, one goal at a time.The campers are a bonus! Everyone is so uplifting and friendly. 10 out of 10!”

“I love this place. Here is the deal-I am not an athlete and that’s ok.The coaches get that and help me work to my top potential. They customize the training to my level.This gym has two options-1. They have high energy classes that incorporate a little bit of everything from cardio to weight training to coordination drills.2. Semi personal training. It’s a great concept without the costs of a 1-1 trainer. Essentially there is a group of 8-10 students that rotate between eight sections. Each section has two different exercises. The trainers/coaches walk around and show you how to do each set. If you are not doing it correctly or they see an opportunity to improve, they will share with you. If you need a confidence boost, they will cheer for you. I really like this approach as I do not want a personal trainer to watch me every second and this style gives me the perfect amount of independence with support/guidance/motivation if I need it.Notes-1. I love the smoothie bar. Healthy smoothies that are low sugar. Huge perk.2. The coaches are great. They genuinely care and want to push you but are not over the top. They know what I need to work on and customize the workout so I stay safe but keep challenging me to push harder. My main coach is Kristen as she works nights and tends to always be there when I am there. She sold me on Faster and I’m glad she did. The Nicks, Charles, Megan, “T”, Jason, and Matt are all great. They know their stuff and get me through the workout. They really don’t have a bad egg at this place. Each have their own style but work well together.3. They have one of the fancy body analyzers to track your progress. Super interesting and worth trying.4. They work with a caterer if you need a meal plan and also sell their own supplements.Overall this is a good spot who will cater to your level and personality. I trust them fully.”

“I can’t say enough good things about JAM! I went into my first session not knowing what to expect, as I have been intimidated in the past by fitness instructors who either 1) have the perfect body and you think you could never get there 2) it’s just a job to them and they don’t actually care about you as a person. It’s different here. Jon and Matt are different. They explain the why behind everything we do together, they’ve listened to me and helped me through some stressful days. They provided a balance to my life that I didn’t know I was missing and I am forever grateful. If you’re on the fence, just take the plunge. It’s so worth it. I will share one of the most amazing things that happened to me during my journey here - I spent 3 hours building IKEA furniture and I was PAIN FREE while doing it. That was a HUGE deal for me!! I can’t say thank you enough!!!”

“I took up pole dancing for health and wellness reasons. I do not like gyms. This has been a wonderful fit for me. Everyone is so positive and encouraging. I took Level 1 and 2 with Mysti. She is a wonderful teacher and clearly explains dance moves, positions, and steps. I love Sunday floor work and twerk classes with Deneese. It's like being at a pep rally. We all cheer each other. I got a membership a few days ago. I can't wait to learn more!”

“I’m a Burn Boot Camp on demand member while I wait for a location to open near my home and love to pop in to locations when I travel for work and there’s a spot nearby, I was lucky to take two camps while visiting PA this week. Everyone working and the members at this location were friendly and welcoming. Both trainers I had were energetic and encouraging, the gym itself was spacious and clean! Definitely will visit again when I’m in town for work and would recommend this location for anyone who is local! Thanks for having me :)”

I chose the one week pass option before I committed for the entire month and I am impressed. The owner, Marissa, is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and in great shape.The equipment all looked well taken of. Overall Fortitude seems like a great place to work out and doing so supports small business. Looking forward to going back tomorrow.”
