It would greatly benefit Home Depot to reduce the number of self-checkouts and increase the presence of workers at the front to assist with customer checkouts.While it may seem like society is becoming less inclined to work, Home Depot could consider offering discounts to customers who choose to scan their own items. However, it is crucial to address the issue of scanner malfunctions promptly, as waiting for assistance can be time-consuming and frustrating.Implementing a system similar to grocery stores, where workers scan the items for customers, would simplify the process and improve efficiency. Although technology continues to advance rapidly, it is important to strike a balance between automation and human assistance.While workers are undoubtedly helpful, it would be fair to give self-checkouts a two-star rating.

Employees have no idea where things in the store, not helpful at all and the 1 employee who worked in plumbing-we had to more than 20 minutes for him to be able to help us, gave us unneeded information about using a part that we did not ask him for so we ended up walking up & down the rows finding our part on our own...THIS PLACE IS TOTALLY USELESS

The Home Depot is fine but whatever you do, do not get the extended warranty from squaretrade(Allstate), I have no clue why Home Depot even does business with them, they are terrible to deal with and are all people you cannot understand, they told me that I can’t wait for a part or get a new stove and that I have to get reimbursed for it but they don’t reimburse you the warranty, in March 2023 they just had a civil action lawsuit for the same reasons and not fully reimbursing people. Now I’m stuck figuring it out myself.

Brian, he is the manager at HDRP he was so helpful with our purchase of a refrigerator. We really appreciate him assisting us strapping it on the back of our truck. We will continue to shop and purchase at this store!! Thank you.

Now I can understand and accept that racism is a very big issue in this country for no reason . I am an immigrant who is working hard, paying taxes and doing all good stuff that everyone can benefit including me and my family. I’ve been shopping from this store for about 3 years now and bought a lot of tools, materials and etc. to renovate a abandoned buildings and improving the overall quality of life in this city and I am sure there is millions of immigrants and Americans doing the same thing and I am proud to say I am one of them! But why do we need that negativity and hate to each other…??? Why managers are not educating their staff members to be kind and equal to everyone? Why do I have to make sure to teach my kids to not forget where are they from and where their parents came from …?! Why others don’t try to do the same thing ?Is there someone to answer my questions? Or do I have to call corporate office like you all have been told to do to get answers to my questions? Please advise. I am not gonna let someone to ruin my day every time!!!

We absolutely love the tool rental department at the Ross Township Home Depot! The crew there is amazing and treats us with the out most respect! We rent chippers and stump grinders there frequently, and we highly recommend this particular Home Depot! Thank you for always being so kind to us! Also, we have been to other Home Depot’s where their equipment is out of date and does not work as well!

Good stock of items, sub par customer service. Went looking for new doors to my shed and was told to just go online. Also bought a fridge online since they couldn't help in store. Delivery couldn't install because I have copper pipes. Photos of how they left the fridge.

Understaffed it seems. Every time I order something for pickup thinking that will be quicker, I regret it....the line is always full.Every time it would have been faster for me to just get the item and self checkout.

I feel like they can be more staffed but they are not. I only go there if I need soil or check the garden center once a while for discounted pots, I found really cheap and nice ceramic pots for quite a few times (like under $10 for originally $89 pieces).

Horrible customer service skills with the garden cashier outside. Just a complete horrible attitude when dealing with me. And a supervisor tonight was no better. I would much rather spend more money elsewhere then deal with employees like that. It's truly a shame because I've worked at home Depot years ago and I remember them being so much better, truly caring about customer service. The person working the register on the outside guard in the apartment was a black female from about 6pm to 630pm Wednesday August 9th. The manager or supervisor that came over to assist was a white female.I was asking for assistance with a military discount after already spending over 500 dollars on small retaining wall block and needed 58 more to finish my project. They stated there was nothing they could do tonight to help me. The manager told me she could sit down with me and help register my account online. I needed to get home and finish my project not wait 20 minutes for someone to offer no help. She told me I couldn't get my military discount tonight and would have to take my receipt to the customer service desk to have them apply the discount at a later date.This is the first time I ever had an experience like this and would love for some one to reach out to me.Not about the money it's about the principal and how nasty the cashier was. Gladly spend more elsewhere.
