My boyfriend and I stopped here to pick up materials for a job and I had the pleasure of meeting a man that changed my day. His name was Fred! He was so helpful and up beat and you could see he is a great roll model. I met him because I invertenly kept getting in the way which became a joke. He reminded me of my father who died almost 28 yrs ago. I enjoyed his help and personality and won't soon forget him because he is that kind of man. I think he could be a dad figure to many people. I had to hug him upon leaving...it was like a Home Depot commercial. Thank you Fred from Home Depot on Highland Ave Pittsburg!

This place sucks. First of all you can’t park anywhere near the door even if you have to load stuff up. The customer we service is terrible. Went to pick up an order and waited for over 20 minutes after she called a worker to grab my order. ended up going to get it myself. Not only that I wasn’t allowed to take it out of the store without a worker and when I got to my truck he stood there while I loaded up all my boxes myself. No one who works here is helpful and they’re all unfriendly and useless. Avoid this trash store at all costs.

Last year's comment: A lot of staff walking around in the store but you never seem to find someone who can help you. Or suddenly it seems all are on a break or they are never from the right department. Endless lines at the checkout. The store just doesn't seem to be well managed or organized.
One year later: still the same mess. Probably the worst Home Depot I've ever went to. Nothing changed compared to last year. Today both cashiers where you can pay cash, decided to take a break at the same time during rush hour. Incredible. Is there a manager there or what? Pls change the management, harsh words I know but please do something.

Usually I'm self checkouts and other tech meant to replace humans, but I hope that someone finds a way to outsource every job they hire for at Home Depot because the staff at this location is by far the most awful humanly possible. Sometimes I ask other people to go instead of me because it genuinely feels like the staff are trying to make your life more difficult.
One of the main reasons I wouldn't consider living in Pittsburgh permanently is because of how terrible this Home Depot is. Sometimes I'll drive an extra 30 minutes, each way, just to go to the Ace around Mt Lebanon. Even if I don't think they'll have what I need, it's just nice to speak to an actual human being who understands the difference between right and wrong.

Just avoid this store if you can. Visit another location before heading to the jobsite. Just the absolute worst store. Every disorganized. Never any cars inside. Aisles shut down at inconvenient times of the say for inventory moves. Just a absolute mess.

Standard big box "Home Labyrinth". Staff was friendly, but have contradicting directions to a couple of things I needed. Online ordering lets you get in and out reasonably quickly (if you know what you want).
