I'm not happy with their service. I used to use them years ago but I stopped because their fees were getting too expensive.The tax firm that I've been using was unavailable so I called H&R Block.When I called to set up an appointment and I told them that I am 71 years old, I asked about their fees and they said approximately $168.00 total to file federal and state taxes, they actually charged me $348.00.I don't understand taxes but I can't understand how I got a refund of $880.00 last year but this year I owe $1,400.00 for federal taxes.H&R Block advertises that they guarantee an accurate return with a maximum refund, but I feel like they did not fully examine my documents properly.With all of this said, I will not return to them and I will not recommend their services.

While living in Monroeville, the H&R Block there messed up my locals in 2018. I moved to the Crafton area the following year and had been receiving letters from Keystone tax collection (tax collection group that serves the Monroeville area) so I bring my only copy of my 2018 tax return and the letter of documents Keystone needed. The most prominent thing they needed being the dates that I lived in the two places(my previous dorm, and the apartment I lived in in Monroeville) and the amended local tax returns. H&R Block said they would help me out. Well a week went by after I dropped off the documents and I hadn't heard anything back so I called them and they said the lady who was helping me was busy with a customer, so I waited for her to call back like they said she would. Later that day I realized that they were closed and I still hadn't gotten a call back so I called them the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and so on for the better part of two months. Pretty much they ghosted me and did not get back to me ever. They just kept telling me that she would call me back. Haven't had any problems like this ever since I went over to Jackson Hewitt. Jackson Hewitt has been taking care of me since. H&R Block will not help you if they make a mistake. Whatever agreement they have you sign saying that they will fix any mistakes they made, is just to put a smile on their customers face and doesn't mean anything when it's time to walk the walk.

You guys were awesome in letting me double check everything especially when the cell phone conversation was a but choppy at certain points. But above all love to come back and have them do my taxes every new year!!
