I was referred to Patty Phillips by a rideshare friend. I can't say enough about Patty. She is a breathe of fresh air. I was having my taxes done in the past by a number of other tax professionals but none have come close to measuring up to Patty. Shes's very knowledgeable, patient and professional. She helped me resolve a tax debt I had from 2019 thru 2022. She instructed me on what I needed to do. She told me we were going to go get every dime IRS owes me on my arrears taxes we filed. I had a $17,000 tax debt. Let me say Im sooooo happy to be free of that tax debt THANKS TO PATTYs tenacity. Im on top of my current taxes going forward for 2025 because Patty told me step by step what I needed to do to get curent on my tax situation. We did it!! My

SCAM ALERT. DO NOT GO HERE.
I’m absolutely FURIOUS. I called this place ahead of time and specifically said I needed help with a tax amendment. They scheduled me with someone named Brain, who turned out to have zero clue what he was doing. He insisted I file this year’s taxes with him first — which made NO sense — and only admitted after charging me $200 that he has no experience with tax amendments.
He was rude, dismissive, and barely answered any of my questions. Most of the time he was just muttering to himself, ignoring me. I literally watched this man — who could barely use the computer — spend an entire hour slowly typing in my W2, something I already had printed and ready to go. Then he charged me $200 for that nonsense.
When I asked him again about the amendment — the ONLY reason I came in — he shrugged and said, “I don’t know, just Google it.” Are you kidding me?! Why was I even booked with him in the first place?
This was a complete scam. They lied, wasted my time, took my money, and left me with nothing. DO NOT trust them with your taxes. I’m beyond disappointed — I feel ripped off and disrespected.

I only came here because they said they would check previous tax years and fix them, and I didnt put my financial aid on last years. ANYWAY. Pls tell me WHY I paid 300 to have to SIT THERE and fill out the paperwork??? I should have done it online?? Like i had to sit there while the guy filled out all the info. I'm paying so I can leave my taxes and do something else. I could've done it myself for that. Also, haven't heard back from the guy in 3 weeks who still has all my important information. I have always used a local tax lady who charges me NINETY dollars, AND I don't have to sit there the whole time while she does my paperwork, which is the POINT, of paying someone else to do a task I don't want to do. Do you go out to dinner and have to help the chef prepare your meal? ALSO, 300?? Three hundred dollars to watch some guy fill out all the things I could have done. Completely outrageous when advertised to be free. I went back and ofc you got me, free to file online, which I should have done, cus I basically had to file it myself then pay 300, so literally a horrible waste of a business.

DO NOT GO HERE!NOTING BUT ISSUES. STILL WAITING ON 2021 TAXES TO BE APPROVED BY IRS. REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT SEEM TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING! FORMS SUBMITTED INCORRECTLY HAD TO RESUBMIT TAX FORMS THAT WERE SUBMITTED INCORRECTLY ON MY OWN. BETTER TO DO THEM ON YOUR OWN THEN HERE!

Dropped off my tax before leaving for vacation. Heard nothing for over a week. Called to follow up on the status for them to not be able to find my tax information. Then when it was finally located the receptionist at the front said I could stop in anytime from 9am to 9pm to see Lisa Heck who prepared my taxes. I arrived the next day as instructed to be told by the same receptionist my appointment is at 4pm. Done will not be returning after this year. I will find a local independent person for taxes.

You guys charge alot for your services when I could just go to turbo tax for free. Other than that I have no issue with h&r block and I will be back.
