Found a cat by the side of the road severely injured. Both hind and forelegs extremely damaged, I called these guys and they sent two people. The first guy intentionally scared the cat and the second guy got embarrassed because I was able to calm the cat. He then told me to stay back because I (who obviously was able to soothe the cat and bring it closer to me and make it purr) might scare the cat. They then scared the cat to the basement of an apartment and pretended to search for it. They didn't find the cat and they just left without an explanation. They didn't return later on. Kudos.

We had an amazing experience here! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! We are so happy to have Silo in our family! They were able to answer all our questions before we even asked them. They also gave us an informational packet on our kitty about her background and her medical history. I will for sure recommend them to anyone looking to adopt! They were very upfront with us on everything about her. Thank you for helping us adopt!

People who work here aren't completely honest and rude. Then they tell you they will call you about an animal if it's still there but yet again "not in policy" to do so. They are also disrespectful and not helpful at all. Totally disappointed. I'll go elsewhere. This place years ago was way better than this.

This place is not completely honest about the conditions of their animals, upon my second visit in attempting to adopt a cat, I was given information about a 2-year-old female cat in which I was told the cat only had one condition, in the little time that I've had the cat I've noticed two other conditions, I don't know if they were just desperate to get rid of the cat or it was because of who I was. I considered taking the her back and just eating the cost I paid for her, but then I reconsidered in hopes that giving her a loving and safe home it will help improve her conditions, this place does not treat everyone equally, I found out that the hard way over the last week and a half, it shouldn't matter who you are, the colored your skin or your finances when it comes to adopting an animal as long as you're willing to provide them with a loving clean safe and caring place to live.???

I am VERY disappointed in the vet services here and will be taking my dog elsewhere from now on. I had an appointment recently and waited in the room for an hour past my appointment time before someone came into the room and informed me that the vet had an emergency so I would have to return another day in order for my dog to receive his heart worm pills. Fine. They at least still gave his some vaccines and I would bring him back the following week. The day of that next appointment I had car troubles. I tried calling to inform them but, per the norm, no one answered the phones. I left a voicemail and walked into the office exactly 15 minutes late. They told me they only do 10 minutes late. I asked for them to reconsider since they had inconvenienced me last time and it would be a shortened appointment anyway since we just needed the heart worm pills check up. They told me no. The only person in the waiting room was the next appointment- which was 15 minutes from then. I left angry and called to talk to the manger. No answer - left a voicemail. Gave it two business days. Called again. Left another voicemail. Finally got a call back a few days later , but no help ,no apology .Very unprofessional. I want to support the humane society but they have been too frustrating and disappointing. Think twice before using them for your animal’s vet services.

I was referred to this place to get my former breeder dog that we acquired through a rescue to get her spayed. After a bit of hoop jumping to verify she is our dog, I was told to call back on the 15th to schedule an appt for the following month. So I called..and emailed…and called again and again with no return phone calls or emails at any point whereas when I was trying to confirm ownership they immediately responded. Finally today, I called again and again and sent an email begging for a response only for them to quickly respond (at last) only to say that October bookings are full.I dunno why not update your website or phone message to say that bookings are full so that people don’t waste their time calling. I cannot believe how much run around I’ve gotten from them over the last month to be no further ahead with getting my rescue dog spayed.

I found this place last minute. I saw the cat named Caleb online and went to see him same day. In all my years of owning cats, I have never met one nicer. He is very sweet and outgoing. He is in good health and keeps me in my toes. It has only been two days and I feel like I have made the right decision. I am from Maryland. I went to shelters that gave me sick cats. I went to three different shelters on two different sides of Maryland. Only to have loss those cats to their medical issues. Caleb is a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this location for adopting animals. The staff is friendly. The process is quick. And you don’t have a long wait. In Maryland, I had to wait four hours to adopt a cat. And then I had to return the cat because it was violent. So, I post this review as someone with experiences with sick cats, cats infested with fleas beyond what frontline plus could correct, cats so violent that I had to call animal control to remove the animal, and cats that I took back the same week because they weren’t properly socialized. This place is different. They truly care about their animals. If I ever want to adopt again, I will go here.

I adopted Monroe about 2 years ago. He has FIV and some other health issues but he’s my baby. He’s so spoiled and loved. I never thought of myself as a “cat person.” He meets me at the door after work and wakes me at ungodly hours for food. He snores in my face, drools, and makes biscuits on my head. His best friend is a tortoise named Tes. I love this guy!

I adopted my Pookie Bear there 4+ years ago, and I love him. He was a fat black cat named Ceasar. He's still fat, cute, and ww plan on being seniors together. I highly recommend getting your fur baby there.
