Incredibly welcoming for my first class! I felt comfortable to go at my own pace and the instructors were super personable. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering trying out kickboxing!

It was our first time today and both heather and Khom were so nice and understanding. Heather was teaching the class which was obviously far ahead of us so Khom stayed with me and my brother through out the whole class teaching us the basics and helping us learn the right techniques. She was also very patient with us.

high energy even for a one on one beginning training session. Loved how they incorporated cardio into the sessions, but if that isn’t for you it’s okay because you can go at your own pace. Very kind and patient

Had my first class today and it was so much fun! I had no idea what to expect but everyone was very helpful and kind. Super clean location, instructors were very patient and fun. I’m so excited to continue coming here! I think it will be a great place to exercise and make some new friends.

I heard about KickHouse from a Facebook ad earlier this summer and it had been “kicking” around in my head ever since. (See what I did there? LOL)Background: I’m in my 50s, overweight, not in shape, and am the type that needs structure for working out. Getting myself to a gym to work out on my own doesn’t work for me. I need a designated class with a start and stop time and someone to tell me what to do, I do it, and then go home. All that to say I took my first class last night (your first class is free!) and I knew NOTHING about kickboxing. I was nervous and worried it would be out of my comfort zone and skill set. Well, they set you up to succeed!! I had my very own instructor to provide guidance and direction with the moves! Heather was amazing. She demonstrated the moves and broke them down into concepts I could understand for my visual learning style. And then she provided pointers for improvement with the drills. The goal was to learn the moves and learn them safely!I waited to write my review until the next morning to report how I’m feeling. I’m a little sore, but it’s a good sore. I got an entire body workout! I still feel awkward and the moves don’t come naturally. Yet. But that has to be how it is for everyone the first time! I’m going back. I’ve already committed to my next class. Oh, and the best part? I can walk there from my house! No excuses!The pic is from after my workout last night. Still smiling and excited about the next class and what my body can do!
