Such a fun and adorable toy store! Learning Express is packed with so many unique and creative gifts — the kind of stuff you just don’t find in big box stores. Everything is so colorful and inviting, and you can tell it’s a place that really sparks kids’ imaginations.
We stopped by with my friend’s baby, and she loved the puppets! I actually caught the cutest video of my daughter’s best friend playing with one and cracking up — it had everyone smiling. We were this close to buying one, but $40 for a single puppet felt a little pricey. Still, the quality looked amazing, and they had such a fun selection to choose from.
If you have little ones or need a gift idea for a birthday, definitely check this store out. The staff was super friendly and the whole place just gives off happy vibes. My kids are all grown now, so walking through there made me a little nostalgic 🥹 but it’s such a great spot for families with younger kiddos.

This place was horrible the toys are beyond terrible cheap rusty worn out and clearly unsafe one time I tried one of the old broken-down toys and it literally snapped in my hand and instead of apologizing or showing any concern the rude lady at the front had the nerve to say “I called it” like it was some kind of joke the customer service is just as awful rude dismissive and completely unprofessional they act like you’re lucky just to walk through the door honestly ordering online is a hundred times better at least you know what you’re getting the toys here are horrible quality way overpriced and not worth a single penny and to top it all off they actually made me pay for the broken toy no refund no exchange no accountability DONT COME HERE this place is a complete waste of time and money and should be avoided at all costs

Advertised that Jellycat plush toys are sold there, but they are not. Otherwise, great and wide selection of toys and puzzles.

I cannot thank Naomi and the owners at the Aventura location enough. My little one wanted a toy that was very high in demand and out of stock everywhere but they had it in stock at the store. Even thought he item was the eligible for shipping they were so helpful getting me get the package while I arranged a delivery to pick up and ship to me. The service has exceeded my expectations!!

Older adult male worker followed me around store and accused and harassed me of steeling because I put an item back onto the shelf that I was no longer interested in buying. Was very rude. I have never had such a bad customer service encounter.

Really awesome toy store. Yes, an actual toy store. Yes, these used to exist in the world. LOTS of great toys here and there’s something for every budget. Worth the trip if you’re in the Pittsburgh area.

This is the third Learning Express we’ve been to. We used to shop at LE for Squishmallows in like 2021 when people considered them investments because of how popular they were lol. It’s a great store.The only thing I would change about this one (and nothing massive) is the space. People bring their kids here who run around there can be very little room left for anyone to just stand and look at something on the shelf in front of them without getting or almost getting bumped into.

So happy that this store still exists. There are so few good toy stores anymore. Awesome selection of educational toys, as well as the most trendy toys that my son is usually requesting for birthday and Christmas gifts.

Make sure to read their policies that you can not return plush toys. I grabbed a little bunny for my granddaughter and did not pay attention to the cost it was 17$ so I went to return it and they tell me they will not return it. Tag still on it bought it one week ago. Never heard of such a thing they need to tell you when you buy them. I didn't notice the sign that was posted and did not look because it is so random.

I love shopping here, I travel around an hour just to be able to buy the jellycats. I usually spend around $200-$300 each visit since I’m making such a long drive. Today I only bought two small things due to the employee almost following me around. I completely get being worried about theft but that’s not the way to be cautious. It made me uncomfortable and cut my trip here extremely short. She was very nice when checking out! I mean no harm making this review as I love the store. I simply think its worth thinking of other ways to approach possible theft (I’m assuming that’s why she was closely watching and following me)
