I've been shopping in this store since the 1970s when I was a kid -it has changed hands many times to different companies. I have been a huge fan of Macy's and over the last 20 years have purchased most of my wardrobe here. In the last few years it has become near impossible to put any type of outfit together as nothing goes together that is apparent and most of the store is an absolute disaster. The exception is women's dresses (I did not visit anything other than women's clothing today) which is very well taken care of. It was literally shameful the condition that I saw today -the final act section was so smashed together with missing pieces everywhere and tons of things on the floor. It was so crowded with clothes that you couldn't even sort through them. Sizes in the wrong places everywhere -no rhyme or reason. I have written reviews before begging to at the very least hire a team of professional organizers to quickly help you get it together and to form a plan for maintenance. Not sure what your buyers are buying either -it is just too hard to coordinate. Easier to just go to other women retailers that I can find clothes for work -I just can't do this anymore. This disaster is not a staffing issue or customers being sloppy issue -it is a buying issue and lack of planning for anything. If there is a store manager in town, might be helpful for them to try something new as you can't sell under the current circumstances.

Macys used to be a great department store. What happened? Customer service is about non existent. When you ask for them to check availability they tell you to call the stores yourself. And guess what? No one will be able to help you because they are all alone on an entire floor helping someone. And this is an consistent pattern at all the local ma y stores. At your service counters aren't much better. They hair you feel as if they are doing you a huge favor to return things. I like some of the bargains and I use my card for points which is good. But this company is far from the best which it once was.

The real reason I award this Macy's such high marks for this location is due to one person, the manager who singlehandedly fixed multiple customer issues I encountered on that faithful day and even beyond that day:1) skeleton crew working that day he came out to cover2) piss poor service by an employee, which he also handled superbly3) late hour I arrived at store but he did not rush me out the door but instead took the time to finish the transaction right4) fixed discrepancy and personally shipped my item when wrong 5) great attitude and work ethic6) took initative to correct problem vs. that other "lazy" managerIf it was not for him, I never would come back again and Macy's would have lost out on several significant revenue purchases.His name was Zach but not sure of his last name. Someone please give him a raise or a bonus!

Daryl in Men's wear was phenomenal helping us! My fiancé and I had no clue where to start regarding his suit for our wedding. Daryl helped us start to finish and was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!
