Great organization, great fun! I competed in the 5k event and had a blast! The course was awesome and the finish line and celebration is top notch!

Pittsburgh's worst company. It's a poorly run race. The Human Resources woman is a con artist who uses nepotism and discrimination to hire and fire employees. In violation of company policy that she helped write, she brought her daughter in who spent her time looking for a boyfriend and trying to get married to the interns. They don't know what they're doing and discriminate against people's age, race, sex beliefs and looks. Be wary of the vegan Marketing director and the head director too. They spend their day plotting against their employees who they're aren't attracted to. Bad paying jobs and bad management.

Coming from someone who runs a lot of marathons across the US, the Pittsburgh Marathon is by far the most organized, the most entertaining, and has the best course. The live music, cheering sections, and route that allows for family/friends to watch from multiple places throughout the race really makes this event awesome!

Fantastic! The volunteers, the spectators, and the support never disappoints. This was my 9th Pittsburgh Marathon.....I haven't learned my lesson, so I'll be back next year ?♀️

...the new "dynamic" pricing system is a money-making scheme that screwed a lot of people according to all the apologies the race director had to write. I entered my information and the price jumped by 20 f****** dollars. If their idea of a first contact with a runner was for you to drop your shorts this was it. All you'll get from the numbnuts over at the race director's office is a lot of boo-hooing with no satisfaction. How much easier would it have been to just state a discounted price for the first day and leave it at that?

I have participated in the Pittsburgh Marathon activities over the past 5 or so years. I have done the half marathon, relay, medical volunteering and volunteering for the kids race. The volunteers are absolutely amazing year after year. For how massive the event is, it is very well organized. I will continue participating as much as I can for many years to come!

I was here for the Pittsburgh marathon training event held by dicks sporting goods and steel city road runners. It was a awesome turn out and I was impressed for it being my first time at a event like this. Everything was extremely organized and well put together. This is a nice place along the river with access to the trail and some parking areas. I definitely will be returning here in the future for more events or just to hang out and go for a trail run.
