Rutledge Hall was one of my favorite apartments I've lived in while living in PA. McQuarters Realty upkeeps and takes really good care of it. Maintenance was quick even with small things like a broken blind. The building is smaller but I had parking, laundry, and super quick maintenance.
Sad to say I will miss this apartment and thank you to McQuarters Realty for being such an understanding and compassionate realty company. Rutledge Hall is a great property of theirs.

I just moved from Pittsburgh from Ohio a few months ago and struggled to find a place. I reached out to the leasing team and ended up choosing Essex House this summer. I love the big balcony, and think the amenities make this building. I’m obsessed with the pool and it’s awesome there’s a doorman for packages as well as a security guard. Great experience so far and maintenance has been quick and speedy.

We needed a three-bedroom near schools. McQuarters showed us options and worked with our schedule. Maintenance fixed a plumbing issue the same day we called.Property is well-kept and rent payments are online.

Staff is absolutely fantastic! My son lived there for two years and loved it. He moved out a few months ago. I accidentally shipped a package there and Stacy went out of her way to find it and get it back to me. Outstanding experience with the whole McQuarters team. Thank you!

I recently moved into an apartment managed by McQuarters Realty, and I have to say, it’s been a pretty good experience so far. The application process was straightforward, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which made everything feel less daunting.
The apartment itself is cozy and well-maintained. I love the layout—there's plenty of natural light, which really brightens up the space. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, and I appreciate the little details, like the updated fixtures in the bathroom.
One thing that stood out to me was their responsiveness to maintenance requests. I had a minor issue with the heating, and when I called, someone was there to fix it within a day. It’s nice to feel like they truly care about keeping their residents comfortable.
As for the location, it’s in a quiet neighborhood, which I enjoy. There are parks nearby, and I can easily access grocery stores and other essentials. Plus, the commute to work is pretty convenient.
Overall, I’d recommend McQuarters Realty if you're looking for a reliable place to live. The apartments are nice, the staff is accommodating, and it feels like a welcoming community. It's been a solid choice for me!

Although I think the apt I lived in was very nice, the management never takes care of issues that need taken care of and then when you move out they charge you for everything they didn't fix. Plus, I noticed multiple times that things were moved in my place and was told by another tenant that maintenance comes in when you are not there and reports everything to management per their request. If management was better this would be a nice place to live.

Once again found drugs in the back of the building, called maintenance and was told this isn't an emergency. I think it's definitely an emergency that drugs are all around this building and there are lots of kids that live here including mine. Happy to be leaving!

Do not rent any of their property unless you prefer to clean up toilet water leaking from ceiling at 3 am with neither prompt help nor compensation from the building.
Extremely unhelpful manager who claims “flooding as such happens all the time, they handle multiple properties”. So be aware for all properties under them.
