Every single time I come here, I say I’m not going to come again. This time was for sure the last. Every time I’ve been to MedExpress, the “doctors” or whatever they really are, do not listen fully to the patients concerns. After telling the NP, Linda Shearer, what happens when I take a certain type of medication, she laughed and told me it’s not possible. Horrible bedside manner. Meanwhile, my actual PCP has warned me of the side effects. I spent $75 in a co pay to get no resolution.

Staff was efficient and helpful. My only complaint is this location will not accept cash for co payment.

Great service, I was seen quickly and they confirmed that I should go to the Emergency Room, which was exactly what I needed to know.

They were extremely busy, but the wait was only 1/2 hr. Everyone was very empathetic. The doctor was fantastic…she explained everything in a way I could understand.

Went to be seen as a walk-in at 7pm tonight, with an hour left until closing. There was only one other person in the waiting room. I was asked if I had an appointment, when I said “no, I’m just a walk in”, the receptionist in a couldn’t be bothered tone, said that I needed to have an appointment to be seen. I asked her when their policy changed to appointment only.. she said they weren’t appointment only and that they accepted walk-ins, but that they didn’t have any appointments left for today (which was contradictory)… I then asked her if she could recommend another place, she said try Pleasant Hills- but they’re super busy right now too.. I was able to be seen elsewhere and was in and out in 15 minutes with excellent care. Will never go back here. If you’re only going to see patients with appointments, better advertise it at least so sick walk- ins don’t waste their time.

An out-of-stater, I was relieved to find a Med Express within a mile from where I was staying with my son and his family. Thanks Joe, Kayla and staff for the excellent care!

I went to Med Express last evening and even though there is a sign on the door that they accept walk-ins, I could not be seen. I was told they only had one doctor and were only seeing people who had appts. So take your sign down and say by appt only and we are very short staffed. They sent me to other location on 51 and I was told the same thing!!! Very poor medical standards.

MAKE SURE YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. Scheduling an appointment was very easy and convenient. I saw many people come in without appts and get angry that they couldn't be seen right away - don't be that person! The staff here are incredible and deserve to be treated well! They were extremely kind to me and very helpful, especially Joey and Sarah. They listened to my concerns and did everything they could to get me feeling better. I would recommend them to anyone!

Whereas I had to come back due to how busy the clinic was, I received excellent care. Front end staff very kind and efficient, tech was so too who took my vital signs and Sandy is an exceptional clinician

Made an appointment but still wasn't seen for 45 minutes, but I was treated very well and quickly once I was called back. I appreciated being seen by an MA and a doctor. I was out in 15 minutes.

I feel like a lot of the people leaving reviews for this facility have some unrealistic expectations… I made an appointment around noon to be seen at 5:30. The process to make an appointment was quick and easy to do online. As I arrived at 5:30 for my appointment, I went to check in at the front desk. A process that took all of maybe 5 minutes with the pleasant and understanding lady working reception. I then sat down and waited for my name to be called. I sat in the lobby for maybe 15 minutes before my name was called. It might have been closer to 10 minutes. We’ll say 12minutes and 30 seconds to split the difference. Even though my appointment was for 5:30, I understand there’s sometimes walk ins, administrative stuff that takes extra time for other patients on occasion and sometimes patients ahead of me need a little more time for treatment/diagnosis…As soon as my name was called I was taken to the first room where they took my vitals and asked me the reason for my visit. The nurse was very kind, accommodating and efficient. Before I knew it, she was leading me to an exam room to wait for the Doctor.I waited maybe 3 minutes in the exam room for the doctor to show up. She examined me, confirmed the issues I was having and started treatment very shortly after. The doctor was also very nice and understanding of my pain and clearly addressed any questions or concerns that I had. After treating me, she wrote me a prescription, gave me some paperwork explaining my treatment and then sent me on my way. When all was said and done, I was there no longer than an hour. Everyone I had to interact with was very friendly, accommodating and treated me with respect. This was my second visit to this urgent care facility. My previous visit being approximately 2 years ago and that trip was no different.I highly recommend this facility. Just remember to have some patience… sometimes these places can get super busy and overwhelmed with an influx of appointments and walk ins. While healthcare workers have a higher tolerance for stress and thicker skin than most people, they are also still just human beings like the rest of us… so if you go to be seen and someone seems less than pleasant, consider the fact that they might be having a tough day. You never know what someone else has had to deal with that day and it cost nothing to be kind.11 out of 10, great facility!

Everyone was friendly and professional. I was seen within minutes of my arrival. They were very thorough in getting the information about my symptoms and proceeded from there on testing and making a diagnosis by ruling things out. They provided an explanation about the medications I needed and how to take them.
