I made an in store purchase, and approximately one hour after returning home from the mall, I noticed that the same items were listed online at a lower price than what I paid in-store. I contacted the store and spoke with a very kind employee (unfortunately, I do not recall her name) who informed me that a price match was available. She explained that it could not be completed over the phone and would need to be done in person. I let her know that I would not be able to return to the store that same day, and she assured me that this was not an issue, as I had 14 days from the date of purchase to request the price match. She also advised me to take screenshots of the online prices to bring with me when I returned, so the price match could be processed easily.
Three days later, I returned to the store to complete the price match and was assisted by John, the manager at the South Hills Village location. Unfortunately, my experience with him was extremely disappointing. He refused to honor the price match, despite my explanation of what I had been told by another employee. To confirm the policy, I began looking up Old Navy’s price match policy on my phone. While doing so, John stated, “Since you are not listening, I’m going to walk away—please move aside.” I explained that looking at my phone did not mean I was not listening, but he refused to continue the conversation and walked away with out any help or solution.
I found this interaction dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude—especially from a manager. This was the worst customer service experience I have had at an Old Navy location, which is particularly disappointing as I frequently shop there for my toddlers’ clothing. Due to this interaction, I would not choose to shop at this location again. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way John , and I hope this situation is addressed moving forward. Do better .

Elderly employee came up to me while I was shopping with my infant and then proceeded to just TOUCH MY INFANT while she was in her stroller. I did NOT give this associate any permission nor did I give any indication that she could touch my child. She tried to touch her again and stopped when I became visibly upset. Please tell your employees that is completely unacceptable and inappropriate. I can’t ever return to this location because I fear for my child’s safety.

I would avoid this location due to them having several extremely pushy sales people shilling the old navy credit card.

The store is about 90 degrees and it's only March. I was cornered by multiple employees about getting a credit card while I'm shopping. After declining politely I was then insinuated to be too poor to afford the credit card. Like dude I understand being asked by a single employee at check out two or three times but to have multiple employees solicit me, trap me in conversations while I'm trying to get in and out due to the uncomfortable temperature, and then basically called poor for not wanting a credit card from an unknown lender is unacceptable. Every store at the mall does this now but this was by far the worst store in regards to being pestered over credit cards.

I second the review below about the pushy saleswoman. The last two times I’ve gone my experience is ruined by this woman who hounds me about the store credit card. It’s extremely uncomfortable and makes the shopping experience very unpleasant when someone doesn’t take no for an answer.

Twice now I have left the store without spending any money due to a pushy salesperson. I swear she came out of the woodwork, like I understand it’s customary to offer assistance but this woman is very persistent and won’t take no for an answer. Made me super uncomfortable. I was interested in a certain section of the store in particular but I haven’t even been able to reach that section without being accosted by salespeople. I probably won’t be back.

I love this store. Old Navy is offering better styles than ever before. I used to shop at Talbot's but they're just too expensive. I get much better deals along with rewards at this store. The employees are friendly. Vicki was especially helpful to my husband and I on several occasions. She's very kind. We'll run store! Thank you!

They make the fitting room extremely awkward and annoying. Every other clothing store in the world just lets you go in and pick a room that's unlocked. Instead here they made it really weird and you wait in a line for the next door and someone directs you to one.The employee directed me to an open door, which I opened further and there was someone in there!!! Why was the door open? Why was it not locked?? And another employee almost yelled at me and told me it was the other door that I didn't even see. I like the south hills mall but this is the last time I ever come to this old navy.

I just cannot get behind the idea of paying for a bag. From a business standpoint, it's a bad idea. Instead they could offer a discount to those customers who choose to bring a reusable bag.
