I was looking for a gift and receive lots of help I wasn't familiar with the items that I was looking for and I bought it some fantastic for gifts and then also looked at women's clothing for myself. Very high quality. A great place to shop.

I took the flyfishing 101 course at the galleria mall store.
I had taken basic fly fishing courses three times before I learned more during this class than all the other classes combined. The course is the right blend of hands-on supplement with class room training and all the basics you need to get started.
The fishing manager. Rob is not only extremely knowledgeable, but has the gift of teaching and has a true passion, not only for the sport, but bringing people into the sport.
It wasn’t just how great of a teacher he was and how great the class is structured afterwards when buying some things, the store manager, and every employee makes you feel welcomed and extremely knowledgeable.
I was able to walk away with everything I needed to get on fish the same day.
Lastly, the Orvis name speaks for itself with how well made the gear is l, the value for your dollar and the well-thought-out set ups
If you’re looking to get the fly fishing without being intimidated, come to the store !

Picked up my first fly set up today! Staff was very friendly and helpful the moment I walked in the door! They were also very informative! I really enjoyed the class they offered on dry flies as well!

Stopped by the Orvis store today for the first time and the folks working there were great. They answered all my questions and shared a few nuggets. It was like talking with old friends about fishing and the customer service was awesome.

Do Not Recommend. If you must have Orvis Products, but want other superior products also, I would recommend International Anglers in Moon Township. Customer service and customer care is exceptional there.
UPDATE: After leaving this review, employees of this store have unfriended me on social media. That is okay. They said untrue things about me when I was not present, and a previous review stated that he was not placed on hold, and they were making fun of him. More of a reason to shop International Angler.

Recently I broke mt 10" for 2wt Orvis Recon nymphing rod as a result of an accident involving the roof of my automobile. Devastated, I took the once beautiful but now pitiful fishing rod to my friends at Orvis Pittsburgh and retold the upsetting tale to the very last detail.
Robert, the store manager, took detailed notes on the unfortunate incident including the specifics on the damage sustained. He explained that he would provide the warranty department with this information and send my fishing rod in for repairs.
During the weeks that followed, I regularly checked in with Rob, the fly fishing manager, about the status of my fishing rod and repairs. I am positive that my inquiry was quite annoying, but I was genuinely missing my fishing rod for it was the one that I was not only fishing the most this early season but also fishing the best. He communicated with the warranty department providing me the updates.
A few short weeks later, my fishing rod arrived at my doorstep with a notice of the repairs made. It appeared flawless and was ready to get back on the water! I was absolutely thrilled.
In my opinion, Orvis makes the nicest fly fishing rod on the planet. I should know, for I own four models used for various applications. I prefer each one of my Orvis rods over a variety of other high-end brands that I own. As a matter of fact, I have not fished one other brand of fly rod this season, and I am many hundreds of fish deep at this juncture.
I am an Orvis fishing rod fan for life! Not only because they are an aesthetically beautiful and functional tool, but also because of the top-tier customer service and warranty program. Orvis stands by their products because they are confident that they are the best in the industry. And, in the retail market, there is a whole lot to be said about that.

Always a positive experience at the Mt Lebanon store!
I was there yesterday and Rob took great care to resolve 2 big issues I had on a recent trip. 1: a broken tip on a new Helios rod. 2: a pair of waders that I managed to tear in the buttocks in 2 spots.
Rob, in fishing, is a great guy (as is the store's whole staff) and is wonderful to deal with.
Five stars for Rob!

I am a new fly fisherman with no experience and had so many questions about the sport. Both Robs were extremely helpful in helping me get set up with everything I needed to get out on the water. They answered any and all of my questions and even went as far as telling me should I have any questions ever about anything fly fishing to give them a call anytime or stop in. Definitely made a customer for life. I look forward to going back for my fly fishing 101 class!
