Ms. Laverne is a treasure—she’s incredibly skillful, patient and kind. My baby has needed monthly blood draws and Ms. Laverne has been the only phlebotomist to be able to draw blood from my baby’s tiny veins. It’s worth the drive and parking fee.

My 1star rate is actually for a doctor not the hospital. However, doctors and the staff are what makes or breaks a hospital. DO NOT see Dr Feras Ilyssa! I wouldn't take my dog to him. my son was a patient for abdominal pain, N/V and weight loss. He had multiple testing to try to diagnose his problem. I asked if it could be MALS(median arcuate ligament syndrome) he said, "NO! NO! NO! NO!" I believe he didn't like a woman(and RN) telling him what was wrong with her son. VERY Long story short, my son had an abdominal CT and I was told it was normal-no problems. Come to find out from another dr it wasn't-he needed follow up testing for MALS! Turned out that was exactly what it was and he had to have surgery to correct it. When Dr. Ilyssa found out he called me and first NEVER apologized for missing an abnormal CT and second, during our conversation, admitted he 'didnt know what MALS was-he had to look it up' The whole time of seeing this dr he, in a round about way, told us it was all in my sons head. He 'couldn't believe' antidepressants and anti anxiety meds were not working. I just want others to know by this review that Dr. Ilyssa is not a GI specialist! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN TO HIM!!!

I had a great experience here with Dr Mendelson. He is a great orthopedic surgeon!!! The staff is great! They listen to me so well. They made me less anxiety for my EOS & MRI scans. They get know you first before they jump in to the medical stuff. I love this hospital so much! They helped me with my Scoliosis brace and my sister's spinal fusion. I enjoyed my experience a lot on Monday when drop off my "Higgy bears" for Dr Mendelson patients. Thank you so all so much!

One whole week. No one could ever prepare me for this or anyone going through whatever it is they are going through here. I like to first pray for my little 6month old Luca, another little 6month old Westen, another 8month old name Drew and also Wesley in PICU with his heart transplant. Praying for us all. I want to thank my nurses in picu. Special s/o to DR MD RAJ and ZAC thank you for sitting down and talking to us through the days and rounds. It matters most when you truly take a second and step in to see if we are okay. Much appreciated, every morning with you all since. Shaina we love you and your special pats help Luke. Please continue to swing by. Mackenzie the nurse I haven't had you but I love how much you care for the patients parents and relatives. You bringing my tissues and water even when I say no. It's the little things. Derek Jones you're the man. You told us a story about being a life guard in your younger years and it really shows how much you care for you little people. Saving lives all your life! Ty. Olivia Griff your the queen of thrones. We feel so contented, and Luke has a special place for you and so do we. Gillian your the sweetest soul and your soft voice and touch helps Luca. Thank you for all you do. Jill Loeffelbein the last two days with you, you made us feel at ease and I can't thank you enough. Thank you for making sure my little dude is at his comfiest place at all times. Thank you to the front desk picu Donna J. , Aalaha D, Shayla for always making sure we are taking care of in the family lounge. Making sure we are stocked and let in at all times but checking people who don't look familiar. Your job isn't unnoticed. What your do is huge for us parents. Xo Respiratory team thank you so so much. You do not mess around when it comes to the beeps and machines. Cafe people thank you for noticing us and making us laugh and pick good food. Evs staff thank you for taking care of garbage and stocking. Special thanks to evs. Samantha F. for getting us a comfy chair to sit with the baby. I wasn't able to rock him or put my feet up the first few hours and then since I hadn't been able to hold him. I hope soon I can and I will use the chair. Thank you for taking care of us the first two hardest nights here. Angela Militzer is one of the most genuine caring people I had ever met in my whole life and she has checked in on us since day one in the er and helping me save my Luke. Ty. Can't recommend this hospital enough. Families will feel comfort in a the extra details this hospital provides, from the fish aquariums, to interactive tables areas, to moving displays and fun art. Not to mention, the hospital covers a plethora of medical needs, is clean, and faculty is hospitable and caring.

Staffed by people who care. Clean, fast, friendly service. Love that there are weekend hours. Had a variety of great phlebotomists. Highly recommended for small kids and babies.
