We love this shop and always check in to see what is new. Almost everything is imported from Peru. The lady who owns it is also from Peru and she is SO nice and fun to chat with. It is the perfect spot to get clothes, jewelry, and gifts. The quality of the items are good and the prices are also really reasonable.

The owner is so kind and personable she's so helpful every time I visit! I stopped in close to closing time to get a pair of gloves for someone but they ended up being too small for the person, so I ran back to the store and they were closed, but reopened just to make sure I could exchange them for a pair that fit and was satisfied. Very good people, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Thank you again!

The best place to buy fun, ethnic jewelry. The lady who owns this store is from Peru. Almost everything in the store she imports from her native country. She is the loveliest person to chat with. Also, she offers discounts all the time. Her story's items are made from natural things found in various parts of Peru. Beautiful stones such as citrine, labradorite, amethyst and carnelian are found there. From natural plants come seeds of all types, nuts and leathery died orange peels rolled and formed into all sorts of necklaces and earrings. Love earrings? She's got tons, silver too. I've been shopping here for years. Mirrors, alpaca serapes and sweaters, dresses, alpaca hats and gloves, wonderfully bright purses and arts and crafts of Peru. Come in and shop. Your purchases help keep her family going and enable everyone in Squirrel Hill and beyond a chance to wear fantastic items imported straight from Peru for our enjoyment. Support small, adorable businesses!!!

When we lived in Pittsburgh, this was our favorite store. As others have mentioned, the owner is so kind, and there is lots of variety (in clothing, accessories, art, etc.). Very reasonable prices. Great store for shopping for self or gifts. My girlfriend is Peruvian, and she and the owner really connected— visiting was always a fun and special occasion. We bought a wool sweater (very cozy, not itchy), dress, three scarves, a wooden-beaded bracelet, wool socks, a small llama figurine, a small/medium purse, and a painting of Mary. Everything has held up very well. Please visit Patiti Inti!Note: Our last experience at Patiti Inti was in July 2019.
