What is the point of making a grooming appointment when they tell you they'll call you in 2 hours for a bath and nail trim on a small dog??? During Covid you aren't taking walk ins, so, you get behind that much that you need 2 hours for a 20 lb dog bath and nail trim? Awful.

As you probably know, Petco is a large national pet store chain that sells products and services for pets as well as some small live pets. This Petco did not sell all of the brands and products that I like to buy for my cats, but I found some of the products and also similar substitutes. I now have sufficient cat food, treats, and litter to last awhile. The prices were slightly more expensive than what I could get from their online competitor Chewy. When I checked out at the cash register, the cashier said a friendly hello, accurately rang up the items, carefully bagged them, and wished me a good day. This Petco will NOT be my regular store for shopping for my pets, but my overall experience today was still good.

Normally order all pet supplies from a Company online but needed a quick item. Came into find pretty much no one masked. A joke of a plastic barrier at checkout and all out filthy store.

I took my dog to the grooming salon that is part of Petco and was very pleased with their services. The groomers, Rachelle and Tara, were so nice and very loving towards my pup! I knew that he was in good hands! They gave a "report card" of what was done and how he did, along with an already scheduled date to come back! That was very appreciated! We will return!

The vet clinic I attended with my cat started late and took a very long time. Sure it was a cheap way to vaccinate, but it took about 3 hours for my cat to get her rabies shot. What you don't pay in money you sure pay for in time.

I had previous great experiences with this location, but now I will not even encourage others to using this store or service. I had paid for his wash, teeth brushing, ears cleaned, even extra deshedding. I made sure to ask if they did his ears and they were very much in agreement it was done (never had an issue before). Never was told prior times or this time that he will need ot be brushed 48 hours later. Yet, even a week later I am still cleaning out his shedding, a day after he came back to me his ears needed cleaning extensively so much came out even wax the size of small paperclip...it was bad. I asked for the regional/district manager...I felt the call I was on needed escalated, she said the manager would call me back, he never did. He advised her to give me the customer service number when she called me later on. This manager from previous experiences seems to not place an importance on customers first. I have encountered on many times products being not in stock and his non-concerned attitude too. I will say this was my first extremely bad service in the grooming area, but I will say the store entirely has gone down in service over the past 2 years.

I would never recommend petco to any of my family or friends. I took my dog to be groomed there twice. The first time it hardly looked like they cut his hair. The second time i explained to the groomer that i was aware there was some matting on his stomach due to a harness that we use to walk him. I told her that i wanted his hair a little shorter than the last time he was groomed because it did not look like they had cut it. She agreed and was very kind. The actual groomer, Rachelle, must have not understood because she shaved my dog. He is a Maltese and they completely shaved his beautiful coat. They did not trim up his face or his tail. It was horrible. My fiancé went back in and brought our dog with him to request a refund and the manager and groomer were very rude to him. They told him that i had asked for the dog to be shaved. It made us both furious and so disappointed in petco. I called the Petco customer service line as a last resort and they were very helpful and they said they would contact the store manager to issue a refund of the grooming. He called and was accusatory. He asked to tell me my side because he had been told "an entirely different story". He said he would issue a full refund... only if we had the original receipt. I explained to him that it's very rare that people keep receipts on services and we probably didn't have ours. I kindly asked him if they would be able to print the receipt for us since i had used my petco card. He said he wouldn't. We took our dog to a new groomer and they were horrified at the grooming our dog received. They often get ex-petco customers in their shop whose dogs were botched just like ours. This petco has some of the most unprofessional, unkind, and disrespectful staff i have ever met. I will never walk into another petco every again. They don't care about you or your pet. Don't go here!!!!!

I wouldn't buy anything from you guys, the saltwater tanks are a disgrace, the fish are starving. yellow tang $44 and you can count its ribs. manager tom is an idiot. done with that place
