This store is awful. The employees clearly don't want to be bothered with you and the live insects are usually dead on the shelf or in the fridge. They should least be ensuring that they are not rotting in the fridge!

If you need to go to a pet store I would go to PetSmart. The prices are better, I noticed today that Petco has the same treats as petsmart they were but $5-$8 more. why!?? Then they charged me a bag fee, like what and why?? As I had to carry a 34lb dog food bag out of course I needed my other items in a bag. Definitely not going to anymore petco stores!!! Total rip off and sneaky high prices. I’m just warning you

They have a good selection of higher quality dry dog food and dog treats. The staff are very helpful too.

I purchased a puppy training package and I have completed the first 6 weeks. I still have another 6 weeks left. Why 1 star? First the miscommunications from the staff member to the trainer at the time I purchased the package. Second, It is soooo hot in the training room, it is so miserable for me and my doggie. Now Janeen the Dog trainer deserves a MILLION ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, for working under these horrible conditions. The fact that she could train my JJ and many other dogs in a sauna is insane.During graduation day JJ was panting so bad. I am hoping that this gets fixed. It has been very HOT outdoors and to undergo training for an hour is just not possible for many of us. At the time of purchase no one tells you how hot the training room is, it is deceiving. I found out day 1 of training. SAD and frustrating. PETCO management needs to FIX the problem to make this an amazing training experience overall. It is called positive reinforcement training, there is nothing positive about the training room high temperature. FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT! Janeen you are a Rock Star!

Bought 5 freshwater fish. Within a week not only did 4 die but 6 other fish in the tank died. Never had a problem until bought those fish
