I would HIGHLY advise going elsewhere. This practice is very deceitful. I was told I needed to bring my cat in for repeat bloodwork to check his thyroid levels since starting a medication. They tried to charge me for a full blood count panel and a full “senior” checkup which is not what he needed, not what they asked if I wanted and not what I agreed to. When asked their response was “I asked if he was here for a checkup “ while I called you in the car. The appointment was made specifically for blood work. She either tried to be deceitful with her question or put me in the computer for an appointment that was incorrect with the coding. She had no clear answer as to why I was charged for a complete blood count vs a thyroid panel. I noticed when I got home that I was also still charged for the senior checkup which I shouldn’t have been. The other thing I realized was they did not deduct my $25 deposit that I previously put down for the visit. This practice falsely charges for things you don’t agree to, never made an appointment for and fails to properly track past deposits made. I will be contacting the BBB regarding money owed to me by this business

Love you guys. Dr. Mohalic won me over years ago when my first Bulldog Bella developed pneumonia at an older age. She stayed with her through the night and updated me hourly on her status because I was so worried. I was never so impressed and would trust no one else with my pups! Thank you for all you guys do!Sincerely, John Milkovich (Bella, Miya, Jax).

The staff was exceptional and very professional. The Vet and vet tech handled my dog with such care. I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time, even though I am not a current client.

On December 21, 2023, I sadly had to put my beautiful 16 year old cat and best friend to rest. His name was Eeyore. For the past 5 years we used the Pleasant Hills Pet Hospital for all of Eeyore’s shots, check ups, and health concerns. Dr. Fruman and her technicians always went above and beyond to make both of us comfortable and to explain whatever health issue was going on. There was even a period where Eeyore was diagnosed with diabetes, and they worked closely with us to eventually get him into diabetic remission. In the end, Dr. Fruman compassionately assisted us with Eeyores palliative care and also helped with insight into how to recognize when it was time to make the most difficult but inevitable decision, to send him off to his next adventure.Much thanks to PHPH ?

Communication was not great, however, the staff was friendly, organized, and quick. Just know that their still following some type of Covid protocols, and only let one person go in with your pet. Cost is on point with other places.

I think that Pleasant Hills Pet Hospital is a great place to take small animals! The entire staff, from the receptionists to the veterinarian were friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist went above and beyond to make sure I had an appointment that would fit my hectic work schedule. The evening and Saturday hours are very convenient. The vet took the time to talk with me and to address all of my concerns. My little hamster pet was handled with care, and I like that I was able to be present for the exam. A lot of people don't value hamsters because they are small and have a short lifespan. It was nice that they were as gentle and kind to my small pet as they would be to a cat or a dog. The only negative thing about this hospital is the parking can be a little tricky. The lot is very small and sometimes it can be hard to maneuver around larger vehicles. It's not their fault however, it's just something to be aware of when going there.

We went to the Pleasant Hospital today because our cat was in excruciating pain from a blood clot that did major damage to his body. It was so horrible & we were beside ourselves and in a river of tears… We had to put Buster down because of his serious condition. The folks that worked here were absolutely wonderful, super caring and helpful and did everything in their power to save our cat. Thay gave us all the details on what & why it happened and what would be the best option for us to do for him considering. Every last one of the good folks there consoled us in our time of sorrow… I would like to thank them all very much for everything they did especially the loving hugs my wife & I received as we were leaving. We Love you guys soooo much. You helped us in more ways than you’ll ever know…!

I didn't go there. But a year ago we had an appointment for our cat and we had a serious family emergency. My mother-in-law went into the hospital. We had to pay a 25.00 up front appointment fee, of course it was non refundable and we couldn't get another appointment for our cat. Their attitude was nasty and unprofessional on the phone. My mother in law passed away. Our cat is fine, we went somewhere else. I drive past there often, but I never went there. It came up as if I had visited recently.

Never again will I be bringing my pet here again. They do not let you come in with your pet when they are giving shots. They tell you that you need boosters to a shot that was already received and there was no extra fee. When you get there then they say it was additional cost. I have asked for his nails to be trimmed but they can never do it. I requested his records I will be taking him to a different vet from now on. Guess they don’t realize the Covid lockdown is over.

My dog was bleeding from a polyp and I couldn't get it to stop. My vet couldn't see him so I called and they told me how to stop the bleeding and saw him within an hour. Everyone at the office was so kind and compassionate. Beau received excellent care and is doing fine. The visit was reasonably priced and the office was very clean. I highly recommend Pleasant Hills Pet Hospital!

I have never been more disappointed with a vet before in my life. We were noticing some issues with our cat and had her seen here. Joleen Mihalic was the one who saw our cat and determined she needed 2 teeth pulled. Their dental machine was down but we were assured that as soon as this machine was fixed they would contact us to schedule our cats surgery ASAP. Our cats mouth was not closing making it extremely difficult for her to eat and drink. (They never offered a hydration bubble or even give us instructions on hand feeding). They then went a head and scheduled our cats surgery for 7/14- didn't contact us, just scheduled it. I then called to ask them what the text message appointment reminder was. They told me it was for the surgery but they were going to cancel another surgery so we can be bumped up since our cats surgery was life critical (she was dehydrated and had elevated kidney levels). We had called them multiple times and begged for them to bump up the surgery or refer us to another facility that can get us in sooner as we had notice a decline in our cat. The front desk messaged Dr. Mihalic and advised her of the condition our cat was in and asked for approval for another doctor at the facility to do the surgery so we could get in sooner. She apparently declined this. The lady on the phone with us then gave us the name of a place that might be able to assist. We called 12.. TWELVE different facilities until we finally found an emergency vet to do the emergency surgery the next day. Unfortunately our cat passed away that night, that's how critical she was and Dr. Mihalic couldn't have been bothered to take us seriously. Our cat died due to her negligence, please stay away.
