The pnc customer service line and the listed services for the 225 fifth Ave branch (not this one) include 'instantly receive a lost debit card'. When I walk into the branch there are two managers just standing in the lobby staring into the distance. Another employee they identified as the intern was near asleep in one of the offices. When I ask them for the 'instant' debit card replacement they said I needed an appointment. I asked if they could do it as they were just standing there and they said no because I need an appointment. So I walked down the street to this 120 fifth Ave branch in the first avenue place building and they can't be more helpful. She was empathetic and listened. The banker at this branch today brightened my day so thanks.

What's happed to PNC Bank. Last Friday I was out to dinner with friends and when I went to pay the bill my charge card was declined. I didn't realize my Cash Rewards card had expired. I use my Cash Rewards card in restaurants because it pays 3% cash back and my CashRewards only pays 1.75%. I called PNC card services and the agent said they have been getting mail back from my Florida address. She said she would replace the cards, but, they can't send them to an address other then the billing address on the account. She offered to send the new cards to a branch office. Realizing my CashBuilder card expires in September and I won't be in Florida I will have the same problem. The agent was very nice and said she would take care of both cards. Again I was on hold and when she came back she said both cards are being replaced and don't use the old ones. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT, now I don't have a charge card. I ask if she was overnighting them to me and she said I wasn't eligible. I told her not to replace my CashBuilder card until I get my Cash Rewards card and she said too late she can't reverse the transaction. Why would you take away both cards leaving me without a charge card over a holiday weekend? If I had a travel alert on my cards for two months, why would you let my card expire and not let me know. Why wouldn't she overnight the cards to me as they did in the past when I lost my card? I use my charge card for everything I buy to get the cash back. The cash back is held separately and I take it on New Years and buy something I wouldn't normally spend the money on. NEVER AGAIN PNC!!! TODAY IS ONE WEEK AND STILL NO CHARGE CARD!

Lady was very rude when I came in looking for a teller. Man was respectful. Lady asked me if I knew how to use the ATM machine as if I was a child and felt very disrespected by that statement. Bad customer service.

I have been a loyal PNC Bank customer since I opened my account at age 16. But PNC made a simple clerical error that was devastating to my family - and they refuse to correct it. Long story short, we welcomed our new baby a few years ago. We used a PNC loan to buy a safer car. The automatic payments worked like clockwork for years. But PNC mistakenly stopped them. Then, they mistakenly sent notices to the wrong address. Before I knew anything was wrong, they reported us to a credit agencies. Now, years of planning and building our credit to apply for a mortgage are ruined. It would all be so simple to fix. The PNC employees I spoke to agreed the bank had made a mistake. All it would take is a simple letter. But they refused.

Dealing with PNC has been a nightmare!!! Stay far away. As soon as I can, I will totally break away from these people.Unbelievable!!!!!! I am my mother's Power of attorney. She had a stroke and I am trying to get access to funds to care for her. PSCU, her credit union, was wonderful in expediting the whole process. No problems. I have been fighting with PNC for months. So many times they don't answer or put me on hold forever and then promise results and apologize... then it starts all over.

I had a "wow" experience with Brian Lupyan. I came in to get a replacement debit card and wasn't expecting much, however Brian asked how my day was going, asked about my job then reviewed my account and gave me very helpful tips I was not aware of. Talk about making my first trip to this specific branch a good one. I also work in customer service and this is the stellar service I like to see. I normally go to a different branch, but his CS was so kind I will be coming here and referring my friends and family to this branch as well. Thank you so much.
