I have received EXCELLENT customer service from Andrew Crego, the Branch Manager at the PNC Penn Ave/Strip District location. He was polite and courteous and provided effective help with two complex issues. Thank you, Andrew!

On Friday 12/13/2019, I mistakenly & unfortunately went into negotiations with PNC Bank for a Personal Loan, which was recommended by Credit Karma. I implicitly trusted Credit Karma's recommendation, as I had always had "Five Star Customer Service" to my requests for Personal Loans. It has now been twenty-eight (28) working days, I have not received ANY TYPE OF COMMUNICATION (whether it be electronically or on paper) regarding my Personal Loan Request. What is most disturbing, is that PNC ran a HARD PULL "INQUIRY" CREDIT IREPORT from Experian Credit Reporting Agency on 12/20/2019. On Friday 12/20/19 3:25 pm PST, I sent this email Tom (?) PNC BANK Loan Analyst; ...I appreciated your professionalism & courtesy in our telephone call earlier this afternoon. PNC Bank requested a significant amount of extremely personal financial information, which I immediately responded to & attached. I foolishly sent PNC Bank all of the following financial information: 1. Retirement Benefits Letter; 2. My Social Security number; 3. Confirmation of my email address; 4. Bank Account Routing number & Personal Account and number; 5. Information on current condominium ownership details & HOA Fees; 6. Answered Credit Report Questions, plus- I verified Addresses, as to where I had lived over the years; 7. I requested a Personal Loan, which was Four Thousand & Two Hundred ($4,200.00) dollars less than the original Personal Loan Amount offered on Credit Karma. 8. I supplied PNC Bank with all the balances on my most used credit cards & another personal loan. On Tuesday 1.07.2020 4:30 pm PST Dear Tom (?) PNC Bank Loan Analyst: This email is going to be very short and straight to the point. I immediately sent you (per your request) an enormous amount of personal financial information on 12.20.2019. ..... PNC performed a HARD CREDIT REPORT PULL on me from EXPERIAN (screenshot attachment) on 12/13/2019. I find it totally unprofessional, impolite, and very inappropriate business practices, such that- you didn't have the courtesy to contact me either by email, text, or a letter stating your decision regarding my loan. I now find it necessary to post my experience with PNC Bank for a personal loan on all Social Media Sites, where PNC Bank has a presence. I also need to contact Credit Karma to share my experience with them regarding PNC Bank. Other potential clients, con-sumers, and loan applicants, who are attempting to apply for a personal loan from to PNC BANK, need to be made aware, you require & take very personal financial information. PNC BANK does not appropriately respond in a timely manner to the loan request. On Wed. 1/08/2020 8:40 pm PST Dear PNC Bank Loan Analyst Department: I appreciate it, that you responded so promptly to my previous complaint email. Thank you. It would have been more helpful, if- they was a specific PNC Bank Loan Analyst Agent connected with the email. It just seemed quite generic to me. Could you please be more precise as to when, I am going to receive some communication from you? As a "Valued PNC Bank Customer," it just seems appropriate for me to obtain more details. You have requested me to be patient. Again, I supplied Tom (?) PNC Loan Analyst with extremely personal financial IN-DEPTH information. I responded to his request in a timely manner on 12/10/19. PNC Bank did a Experian Hard Pull Credit Report on 12/13/19. PNC Bank has had approximately seventeen (17) Business Days to make some type of decision- whether it will be a YES or NO to my Personal Loan Request. Sincerely yours, Lawrence D. Worst banking experience ever!

This bank is one VERY unorganized institution!! I started a HELOC account back in November and agreed to a non-interest checking account as long as I kept $500 in the account. Someone within the bank changed up my account WITHOUT my approval and started charging me fees for not having $2,000 in the account. I called and complained and they removed the charges. It started happening again in March. Nobody resolved the issue even though I made repeated calls. They finally put the account back to what it was originally and Had to get approval from a manager to remove the charges. I spoke with John Cambert (Horrible Mgr in Pittsburgh) who was curt and extremely unfriendly. He had no explanation or reasoning for not removing the charges. I could go on with other unorganized aspects I have experienced, but it would be a long list!! Stay clear of this organization!!!

This bag is the most unorganized and backwards institution that I have ever had to deal with. Imagine having to wait seven working days to get a payoff letter for car that I wired transferred the final payment to. It is now 11 days and I still cannot transfer the car that I sold because the payoff letter can only come by snail mail because these backwards knuckleheads can't even email or fax the payoff letter to me. I will never use them again!

Nice having access to PNC in the strip. The service is good, but a little slow.
