I must start by saying that this bank doesn't have any tellers. The customer service is terrible in regards to that but the positive thing is the ATM machines are excellent to use, up to date, and the place is clean. The staff there are very friendly and helpful in terms of showing customers something if they have a problem with an ATM machine and they keep their ATM'S up to date. However like I said, the bad thing about this PNC Bank location in Oakland is it is very inconvenient to go to a teller because there are none and they refuse to give change. For an example, the ATM kept giving $50.00 and i needed change but they wouldn't do it at the desk or don't have cash in the back to get someone change. If you are trying to get change if an ATM is broken, need coins such as a simple (4 quarters for a dollar), and if you don't know how to make change out of the ATM then avoid this location. The younger college generation of people working there clearly can't do math and have it so easy there not having to deal with people. The workers there will not help any customers write checks either and this is more of a Peoples Solution center and not a branch where you go and take checks in or get change. It's like everything is about technology these days and the workers there will not want to talk to customers in terms of going to a teller and instead they expect people who don't know technology or need help to do it themselves. This is exactly why I only give this 3 stars. If they give an option to go to a bank teller and will not be lazy to make change for someone instead of going through a hassle to force customers to use the ATM and deal with the machine in getting change, I would give this 5 stars. The employees are friendly and helpful in terms of helping someone use an ATM to do features on there but they are totally unhelpful when it comes to dealing with old school banking where you go to a teller, write checks, ask for change, or even ask for checks or simple things because this location requires the updated technology where older people above 80 will have a hard time with this. In this day and age of 2023, everything is becoming machines only and no people skills around. That's what this bank is.

What kind of a bank has no tellers! ATM won't read check and no tellers to help deposit!

The ATMs here work great for deposits or withdrawals. The banking personnel here are also helpful.

Had to come into this bank multiple times to get fraudulent issues sorted out with my account. Took multiple visits and they insisted I had to be there in person to fix online issues. Even after meeting twice I’m being told to go back in a third time for them to fix the same issue. It’s been a very inconvenient process and things are still not sorted out. It’s ridiculous customer service both in person and on their customer support line.

PNC is overall a very unprofessional bank. I went to withdraw money from the ATM and the machine did not return my card. I walked into the branch to ask them to get it for me and the teller dismissed me by saying that they don't have the keys to open the machine. He canceled my card and told me to go to a different branch to get a new card printed. He did not tell me that it would cost me, even though it was not a lost-stolen card.A week later I discover that no card has been ordered, but I have been charged the $7.50 fee for a lost card. I call the branch and they tell me to go ahead and order a card myself, by reporting my previous card as lost. Two weeks later I still don't have a card, so I go to the Lawrenceville branch to get one printed and ask for a refund. The associate there, instead of just printing a card, starts inquiring about my credit score and whether I have a credit card, and finally suggests I apply for a PNC credit card that I can use while I am waiting for my debit card. She also keeps trying to sell me investments and college savings accounts for my son, and overall being very pushy.I walk away with a new card and then today I discover that I have been charged another $7.50 fee for a lost card. So I call again and ask for a refund and the person on the phone tries to tell me that I was charged only once, even though I am reading the charges to him from my online banking account.Overall a terrible experience with a bank that hires incompetent people and trains them only to use slimy language in order to scam customers with products.

5 stars for the fact that a handful of branches declined a request I had until I called this location which fulfilled it.

Unprofessional and don't follow their own policies for closing accounts. Baffling.

Used to be a good branch of PNC and now they don't even take cash. No point in even keeping a bank branch open when it refuses to take legal tender.

They no longer let you get quarters at this location as they are “going digital” whatever that means. Closed my PNC bank accounts. The Chase Bank across the street still gives quarters and the tellers are so much nicer. Highly recommend!

Limited me to $5 for quaters for some unknown/annoying reason. Im asuming its because of students but I'm still a PNC customer and now I have to go to another branch.

College Students beware. If you already have an account less than 180 days be prepared to be DECLINED for their Virtual Student Account.PNC does not believe in being student's 2nd bank of choice (for those that have opened account at their home bank and only to find out the home bank does not have a branch at college campus). PNC uses the some funky "bank risk scoring" to decline the application. How does PNC expect College kids to have pristine Bank RISK score as Freshman?Guess this way kids learn early on about how financial institutions really work.

Fine branch no complaints, never had a problem. What you want in a branch location, I don't drive so don't miss the drive thru.
