I went in because my card was about to expire and I misplaced the new one they mailed out. This location printed me out a new one in under ten minutes. Everyone was so nice and super helpful!

Don't bother calling the branch directly, no one ever picks up. The people seem friendly when you're in the branch, but if no one ever answers the phone, the only way I can get an answer to a simple question is to physically walk in the door. That's a terrible customer experience and I'm very disappointed in the people working in this branch.

I was in a panic about my account and had to go to the physical bank. Andrea Lutz was the hero of my day!! She quickly calmed me down with her professional and personal care. She was so knowledgeable about the PNC system and fixed my issues with ease! She was kind, even when I was obviously frustrated. I greatly appreciated her patience and understanding of what I was going through! She didn't rush me or make me feel incompetent. She is very good at her job!!I used to go to another branch that has closed. Andrea's help, made my day!! I'm making this location my home bank and it's because of Andrea's exceptional service and politeness!Looking for a great bank with great people, go to the PNC on Butler Street in Shaler, just off the Butler exit from route 28.4101 Butler Street, 15201

I have been a customer of PNC's for decades and as a bank, I am extremely happy w the service I receive by phone and with my personal financial serviceperson. This review is just for this particular branch. If you have a basic deposit or withdrawal, the tellers can do that. But anything remotely complicated, the tellers will screw it up. On any given day the tellers are 1) chatting between each other to the point that you feel like you're being intrusive for deigning to go up to conduct business, 2) deer in the headlights like it's their first day and they have no clue, 3) if you're getting cash back, say $40 and you ask for a twenty, ten, five, and five singles instead of the two twenties they got out, and the obvious disgust for this not very special request. Type number 4 is the worst, though: the Nosy Nellie. I went to get a cashier's check to close on some real estate. The teller asked me if the amount of the check was the sales price, where the property was located, if I was moving into that house. I finally had to say I don't feel comfortable answering these questions, and NN became a big grump. In a word, don't go unless you absolutely have to, like the ATM is down and you need to make a deposit or get cash.

What a beautiful structure with its Stainglass windows that reflect our past. However, litter, litter, litter!. The bank is surrounded with litter both in its parking space and in the front of its building. I am appalled! Pnc you make so much money be a role model and keep not only the inside of your bank spotless but the exterior spotless.

I almost never do reviews, but a representative for this bank hung up on me when I asked for check ready documents to be sent there for me to pick up. You can't escape your problems because you don't want to do your job, Lori

I've banked with PNC for 3 years but recently went through them to get pre-qualified for a mortgage as a first time homebuyer because I thought as my bank- it would be convenient. I made an appointment with the loan officer. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, he was no where in the branch. A couple employees in the branch I talked to had no idea about the appointment. Turns out the loan officer works for multiple branches and was not in the building. He was not aware of my appointment that I made over the phone with someone else. I showed two people the confirmation email I received with his email signature on it about my appointment. I waited for about 30 minutes while everyone figured this out. A banker finally sat me down and basically did the pre-qualification process. The loan officer called me later that day and apologized and was very kind. It continues though- the banker I handed my W2s and paystubs to for scanning ended up not returning my 2018 W2s. I realized this when I sat down to file my taxes. I called the bank immediately to ask if they had them. She was out of town for a week for work but I was told she would call me by the end of the day. I got a voicemail a week later from her, saying she did in fact leave my W2s on the scanner in the bank- a huge breach of my personal security. Why a professional banker or teller wouldn't call me IMMEDIATELY upon finding a personal document with my social security number sitting around- I do not know. So I called the branch to see when I could come pick them up. The banker was already gone for the day, I was told by someone else that I could come in the next day to get them. When I came to pick them up, she wasn't there. I waited another 20 minutes while the employees of this branch scrambled to figure out this situation. I was given the option of continuing to wait for her to return but I left empty handed because I was already late to work. She called me later, saying she wasn't aware I was planning on coming in- if I had just let her know she would've been there- when I had in fact left a message with someone there. I asked if she could just mail the w2s to me so I don't waste anymore of my time dealing with their communication issues and absent mindedness, but turns out the mail is only picked up twice a week and I wouldn't get them back for another week. I honestly at this point didn't trust anyone there to even put them in the mail. I went back the next day again and finally got the W2s and some cursory apologies. If you want a bank with convenient ATMs, sure they're fine. But I would NOT trust them with a loan or a mortgage or anything beyond direct deposit & a banking app. There is a bare minimum of communication happening within this branch. After going through all this, I would absolutely switch my bank account if I wasn't in the process of buying a house. Obviously I'm going with a different lender for my mortgage.

I made an appt with Olivia today to open a bank account today. I was running a few minutes late due to traffic. I walked into the bank and the security guard said hello. There were no other customers visible in the entire lobby of this bank. I told the security guard I had an appt with Olivia and asked where I would find her. The security guard said she was in the middle glass cubicle. I walked over to that cubicle where two other ladies were in the cubicle with Olivia. It appeared they were just chatting and laughing. So, I walked over and asked if any of them were Olivia. The other two ladies started walking out when Olivia stood up and instead of addressing me as welcome to PNC how can I help you, I was directed to take a seat in the lobby. She was not polite. I advised her I had an appt with her to open an account and asked how long It was going to take. She responded at least an hour. I told her I only had 30 mins and she told me it was going to take 45 mins to just open an account. So, she was going to make me wait in the lobby I guess for 15 mins. I didn't have time to go wait in the lobby by this unprofessional Olivia and there was no way I would ever put my money in this bank. I walked out to my Jeep, started writing this when I decided to just leave. However, I backed up from my parking spot and started to leave when I decided someone like a GM should be advised as to why they just lost a great customer to their bank. So I went into the bank and was now greeted by Sharyn a branch sales and service associate. Sharyn advises me that there was no longer a Branch Mgr at this location and that I could file my complaint with her. She also advised me that I was partially over the line in the handicap parking.....my bad for that! So, anyway, and I mean anyone looking to choose a bank, I would stay far far away from PNC!!!!

There were two tellers when I went but the line moved pretty fast. I got exactly what I came for and everyone was polite.

This is one of the more pathetic PNC branches. At any given hour they have at most two tellers at work. Slow and unprofessional. There's a bunch of people in the back (the ones who sell you a credit card or a mortgage) doing nothing, they should just move them to the teller department.
