They have done a good job of drawing my blood the three times I've gone.
Perhaps they have fixed the problems mentioned in the past negative reviews.

my appointment was at 9:30am. I got here about five mins early. As I was walking in, someone who didn’t have an appt was being told they needed to make one, yet got taken back and seen before me. It’s now almost 30 mins after my appt time and I’m STILL waiting. Idk what the point of an appt is if you don’t actually need one and will wait regardless. Super frustrating
Edit/update: after I finally got called back the lady was really nice and it was quick and easy. If I would have been seen on my appt time I would have been in and out in under 5 mins and gave a five star review.

Melissa was absolutely wonderful. Very personable and friendly. She was also very gentle. I did not feel a thing.

The staff today were just plain rude and lacked basic customer service skills.
During my visit a simple error occurred - I only needed one lab drawn, but the order from my doctor contained several lab orders (many of which I had already completed weeks ago).
Unfortunately this wasn't acknowledged until I pre-paid for the lab draws and was given a receipt. After looking at the receipt, I clarified that I only needed one lab drawn... No big deal, right? They hadn't labeled any tubes yet and had not drawn any blood.
Instead of a simple, "Oh okay," and moving on, the provider became visibly upset and gave me a lecture about how it was 100% my fault for not telling them I didn't need all the labs that were in the system. (How does the patient know what orders remain in the system after already completing most of them? Isn't it the health care provider's responsibility to clarify the order set with the patient?)
I apologized, but suggested that there was a shared responsibility for the error -- that they too could have confirmed orders with me. Once I said that, I was told that it was not their responsibility to do that at all. Another worker then entered the scene and proceeded to berate me. Literally raising their voices. It seemed like the error cost them in total about 2 minutes of extra computer work to undo the claim. The amount of upset that was displayed was way out of proportion to the error. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and empathy.
To end on a positive note, the lab draw itself was quick and painless, and the total time of the visit including wait time was short (I had an appointment).

You have to have an appointment just to drop off a sample here - my son’s ped told us to go drop it off but they didn’t have updated information I guess? So we wasted time and energy bringing a sample out that they wouldn’t even take. They were rude about it too.

Quick and efficient. I've regularly been in & out before my actual appointment time even starts. There's some metered street parking if you can get in early. Darlyne is great!

Very rude lady and customer service, looked online and said walk ins available so I went in signed in a sat down. Was yelled at by a lady to leave because she doesn’t do walk ins. Very poor customer service

Darlyne is wonderful professional. You're lucky to have such a quality employee.

The employee did a good job of drawing blood, but there is no phone number to call to get a live person for questions that the automated system has no answers for.

Expect to be treated like your time is worthless.
Expect them to mess up the Dr. orders and draw the wrong sample.
Expect them to make you sit and watch a video at volume 8 about their stock prices.
Better to go to the hospital down the street.

I left work and drove an hour to the nearest Quest lab with evening hours. I provided my sample and went home. My doctor told me the results said "pending" so she called the lab. The lab told her I gave the incorrect sample type, failed to provide them with an order, and also claimed I was there on the wrong day. These were all of the excuses for losing my samples. I took time off work to go to another lab. They refused to see me and assured me the results were right there in the computer for the doctor. They said I didn't need new samples. I went home only to find out this wasn't true and the sample was still "pending" and lost. I will NEVER go to another Quest. I'm actually considering getting another doctor since mine only works with Quest for some odd reason.

This is the worst place. Supposed to open at 7am. Lady rolls in at 7:40 with no apology. Proceeds to be rude and have no urgency to get through the dozen of people way behind on appointments. Try to ask her a question and she acts like you’re insulting her.

I have had a lot of blood work recently and have been going to various Quest Diagnostics for labs. Every quest diagnostic I have gone to has printed my lab order no questions asked. Not once was I told their policy is to not print out lab orders well today I went to the quest diagnostic on Lytton Avenue in Oakland and the lab tech told she could not print it and wanted to know what other quest diagnostics for printing labs for me. I even had other bloodwork print it out and she ran those labs for me but still refuse to print out the other test that I needed. She wasted an hour of my day I had to find a place that would print out my documents and go back as a walk in because there were no other appointments available. All she had to do was print out the lab work like I’ve seen techs do 1 million other times. So annoyingly frustrating considering most people are trying to get lab work in before they start their work day and can’t go chasing around a printer.
