My boyfriend introduced me to Raise after working with Ray for a couple of years, and I was nervous to get started - I had never done any weight training and had a messed up relationship with structured exercise after high school sports ?I have now been working out with Ray for 6 months, and my entire relationship with exercise has changed. He has an incredible ability to understand each clients’ capabilities and how to help them to reach their goals in a personalized manner. I enjoy going to the gym not only for the fun / challenging workouts, but also because the gym environment is so supportive and not toxic. Ray has helped me to lose 30 pounds so far, but more importantly, to improve my fitness in ways I never dreamed would be possible. I have already referred several folks his way and would recommend Raise to anyone, at any fitness level, who is looking to improve their health / strength / find a fun workout!

Training with Ray has been amazing! You can tell he really cares about the health and well being of everyone he trains, and is always pushing you to reach your potential. The group classes are a fun and supportive environment - everyone is motivating and friendly. I definitely feel stronger since training with Ray, and am looking forward to continuing!

Working with Ray has been transformative. It's been about five months, and with Ray's guidance - I've made some impactful life changes around diet, activity, and even water(!). I've dropped 25+ lbs, my blood labs are in much healthier ranges, and am as toned as I've ever been - more importantly, I've created positive lifestyle habits/patterns that feel sustainable and achievable.Ray has a really talented way of shaping workouts that bring you right to the brink of "I can't do this," where you find yourself surprised by your own capabilities and strength.Your journey will take personal commitment (and some flexibility from your partner) but the results will leave you feeling healthier and more confident in your body.

I am 67 years old, I started with Ray three years ago. I thought I was in OK shape, but my weight was high at 174 pounds. Since working out with Ray consistently four days a week, and doing workouts that he sends me one or two of the other days, I am at 149 pounds and probably in the best shape since I was 40That’s my testimony!But what I can say about rRaize fitness is, he is the most knowledgeable, non-judge, “not hard to look at “ expert in fitness. Staying healthy has always been a mission for me. And Ray has been able to help me stay fit, and most of all healthy into my older years. When I turned 60, my doctor told me it was of most important to really start taking my health ,fitness and eating seriously to get into the next 20 years. I have realized, that I would never push myself to the limits the way that Ray can encourage me on my sessions. Believe me I’ve tried. It does help me do the workouts that he does give me at home a lot better too, knowing that I will report back to him.And it really makes me feel good, to let him see my success. Nothing better than teaching somebody, and helping someone and seeing the fruits of it.It is my investment in me.

Ray is a highly knowledgeable personal trainer who really cares about each client’s goals and needs. He prepares challenging workouts and is always available for questions and guidance. The group workouts are full of supportive people who make the time enjoyable. I look forward to each workout and have seen a big difference in my strength, health and overall well being. Ray and Raise Fitness is one of my best investments in a long time. Ray possesses a wealth of knowledge and has a unique ability to provide perspective as well as instruction. Ray is great at providing home workouts as well as nutritional counseling and under his guidance, I currently am feeling the best I’ve felt in several years. I can’t recommend Ray and Raise fitness enough.

Ray is the best trainer! He’s extremely knowledgeable and motivating. He programs workouts to meet your goals and knows how to push you to work your hardest. He’s also great at explaining the “how” and “why” of what you’re doing. I’ve been going here for over a year and feel the strongest I’ve ever been. I always look forward to his classes/workouts, and it’s a great atmosphere in the gym. I highly recommend Raise!!

Ray is the most dedicated trainer I have ever worked with. He’s extremely knowledgeable and very strategic in his approach to fitness. Every workout is built upon the foundational, timeless principles of exercise combined with his knowledge of your body’s capabilities. Ray is the best! A few years after retiring from competitive swimming, I needed a bit of a kick back into a fitness routine. Coming to Ray has been the perfect solution. He offers both 1:1 and group classes, and takes the time to build relationships with all of his clients. He also sends workouts for you to do on your own, keeping you active even in your independent time. Especially as we head into the winter months, it's great to have someone to hold you accountable to your fitness goals. Highly recommend!

I joined Raise Fitness in January of 2022, and couldn't be happier about my decision. Ray is an extremely kind personal trainer that assigns custom workouts tailored towards your needs. In addition to private workouts, Raise Fitness also offers group workouts. Everyone at the group workouts are encouraging of each other, which is an awesome environment to have.

I honestly don’t think 5 stars is enough. Ray is a true gem, professional, funny and just plain good at his job. I genuinely look forward to my classes every week. The thing I like most about this gym is that it’s more about total health and lifestyle than weight loss, but also not judgmental when we go out for beers. Cheers ray :)Edit: ray made us feel like movie stars on our wedding day. We were so confident and going to rays the year before our wedding was one of the most fun/healthy things we could have done! You got us for life ray!!!

Ray offers a perfectly tailored training experience. I feel stronger, more agile and in control of my fitness. He is highly detailed on form and posture to avoid injury, and he has introduced me to exercises I’ve never done before. I thought the group exercise classes would be intimidating, but honestly they’ve become one of my favorite parts of joining his gym. Everyone supports each other and I feel tremendous camaraderie. If you are serious about becoming the best version of yourself I highly recommend Raise Fitness. See you in the gym!

Ray is great. The difference is that he cares-and that puts him far ahead of any trainer I have worked with in the past. I have lost 35 pounds since joining Raise in January 2021 and gained new confidence, capability and am much happier to boot. Five stars.

Ray takes a very personal approach to fitness. He comes prepared daily with a unique plan to hit my personal goals. Whether it’s strength, endurance or power, Ray has and individualized plan for each client. He is keenly aware of injury prevention and works in mobility and flexibility to round out his training. But that’s just half of it. While you’re not at the gym, Ray will send texts of praise or encouragement or just to check in a nagging ailment. I feel as if he is totally invested in my fitness success.
