Cool attraction to bring the kids too. Lots of artwork created by Randy himself. Some merch to purchase with an honor system.

We have been here twice. The first time we were able to actually talk to Randy himself. What a nice guy! This place is free and full of unique, eclectic, and unique art that has been collected and painted over decades. This is definitely something to see if you’re ever in Pittsburgh.

Randyland is a magical part of Pittsburgh's Northside. It is a free, outdoor, public art installation by Randy Gilson, who lives nearby and oftentimes pops in to talk and share stories of his life and the reason he made Randyland. There is so much to see that you will probably miss something the first time. More art is constantly being made, too. Randyland is also kid-friendly. There is a small area where you can purchase Randyland themed gifts and/or make donations for the care and upkeep. It's truly one of Pittsburgh 's treasures. Please go visit! Thank you, Randy!

Randyland: The Most Colorful Corner of Pittsburgh!
Located in the heart of the North Side neighborhood, Randyland is more than just a tourist destination – it's a symbol of creativity, love and community! Created by artist Randy Gilson, this vibrant place began as a simple neighborhood beautification project and has grown into a cultural hotspot that attracts visitors from around the world. Randy transformed walls, stairs and patios into art canvases, using found objects and vibrant colors to spread joy.
Every corner of Randyland tells a story, inspires smiles and connects people. If you're in Pittsburgh, be sure to visit this open-air work of art and discover a little more about Randy's magic and optimism.
If I were to compare it to something, I would compare it to the Escadaria do Selaron in Rio de Janeiro.

I visited this place a few months ago while I was in Pittsburgh. The place is quite nice and worth visiting if you’re in the city, as it’s very colorful and has many interesting things to see, as shown in all the pictures on Google Maps. It’s essentially a backyard, but it’s definitely worth taking some pictures there. I took a photo that I’ll cherish for a long time.

Who knew so much enlightenment could be found in a residential dump in Pittsburgh? As the spiritually superior and self-righteous among us naturally understand, anything is art as long as it identifies as such, and hoarding is nothing more than a social construct. This masterpiece invites us all to reflect on the virtues of said hoarding, thereby nobly promoting mental health awareness in the community. In addition, this exhibition is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of trash inclusivity and diversity, very progressive ideals we should all strive to emulate. Only the intolerant junkophobic bigots will fail to appreciate the splendor of the blight that is Randyland.

We spent only half hour visiting here, but Randyland was definitely an amazing attraction in Pittsburgh. I can see how much the house owner love his life and the world. There was a lovely sand playground for kids and many dynamic paintings and decorations. It was also free for visitors and nobody guarding. Visitors could buy some souvenirs and make some donations for this lovely place.
