Older Gentleman close to close was really pushy about getting a phone number. Tried to gaslight by saying it hurts them/their numbers if they don't get it. Ended up putting my item back and walking out.

Rebecca was one of the worst customer service reps. She was very dismissive and when we had questions she refused to answer and told us to look online for an answer..Even though she did return some of our items it is unbelievable that you can have customer service reps talk to customers like that regardless of the situation.. I would recommend waiting an extra 5 minutes in line to not have to interact with her.

Quality of merchandise is excellent. Bike store doesn’t give cost break down before handover, and expertise, speed, and cost (labour) is abysmal. If you do DH, enduro or all mountain biking take you bike instead to Thick Bikes on Carson.

Absolutely ridiculous pricing on someone's used sandals and on top of that having to pay to be a member in order to buy said sandals!

A good selection , decent prices. Very orderly. Fitting rooms. Nice selection of markdowns
as well as basic outdoor clothing. Lots of backpack gear, tents and accessories.

Lunch time weekday and it's peaceful and quiet here. Perfect time for browsing all the gear for the next adventure. Staff is knowledgeable and eager to help you out if needed. Plenty of selection of in stock items. Great if you need anything for backpacking or bike packing the GAP trail.

Ive been coming here for years for odds and ends for camping and hiking. Today, I came with a mission. To get new boots. My friend and I browsed around a bit. We looked at camping bags where we were helped first. The gentleman that helped us, Evan S., was incredibly knowledgeable and familiar with all of the packs we were interested in. He helped us get properly fitted to the right frames and got everything sitting exactly where it should be. He then asked if we'd be interested in helping him train two new recruits. I only remember one young woman's name, Abby. Both young women were phenomenal learners and did everything that Evan had explained perfectly, even when he had to step away for a moment. These three were amazing. Then, upstairs, we took up much of the time of the young man and woman handling the shoe department. Both were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and had nothing but patience with us. They had to have run back for 15 different pairs of shoes between us, and consistently remained kind, polite, and helpful, right up to closing time. We spoke with a few other team members while we were there as well, and everyone treated us with class and professionalism. To the crew working 6 to Close on 7/9/2025, you all were awesome, and guaranteed that you'll be my first stop for anything I need on the trail. Thank you everyone! Highly recommend REI for ALL camping and hiking needs.

Staff seemed very unwilling to help with anything, even to help me find what I was looking for. They weren't busy with other customers, just talking to each other. It was hard to get anyone to answer any questions.

Super disappointed. Long time member. I was excited to see a brick and mortar store, but the sales ladies double-teamed us as soon as we walked in and wouldn't go away until we found something we wanted and then disappeared because their sizes were all picked over. Also don't show a big guy slim fit skinny jeans and then argue these are regular.
