I've been with Simply Automated for around 8 years and have been very happy with their products, service, and response times. We recently had to replace our Frame TV. The staff who installed the TV did an exceptional job removing the old TV, installing the new TV, and reprograming the network system.

The Simply Automated team was great to work with from start to finish. The sales team worked at our pace and provided transparency into the scope of work and process. The install team was very knowledgeable and respectful, given my home office situation. Lastly, the service has team been responsive and quick to address any issues with my system. Simply Automated exceeded my expectations, every phone call answered or returned promptly, project scheduled and completed a couple of weeks sooner than promised. All technical issues resolved quickly. I interacted with the owner, sales, installation and service. All professional, knowledgable, timely. SA even helped me with issues not related to the project! SA up-graded security, cameras, a TV, and installed new NVR and Control 4, and new remotes! All working seamlessly! I recently did some international travel and NO spinning wheel of death, lol, both apps on my phone were perfect! If you get the chance, visit the showroom, it's also awesome!

We recently advised Joe, at Simply Automated, that we needed four additional devices added to the existing security system which is currently in our house. On October 15th, two of their technicians, Don and John, came to our house to install the new equipment. As soon as they came in, we could tell that they both knew what had to be done. And they immediately went to work. There was very little conversation between them and about two
hours later, the job was completed. In addition, they changed all
of the batteries in our other security devices. My wife and I are
completely satisfied with the work that they did. And we also
appreciate them removing their shoes when they came into our
home. We both feel that Don and John should be complemented
on a job well done. Thanks.

Simply Automated has been a welcome addition to our new technology hub in our Home!! We used to have components, with cords everywhere connecting cable boxes and everything else you could imagine. Now we have streamlined our entire home with incredible wi-fi, a custom designed security system and a platform to operate everything from Lighting, TV, Cameras, and recordings of what’s happening around our home. Tom and his Team are incredibly professional and talented.

We were a customer of Simply Automated for years. They installed a number of products for us. It was a robust Control4 system as the central hub that controlled our 8 zone audio, Just-Add-Power video matrix, RF wireless blinds, control4 lighting, and the wifi network equipment as well.From the outset, we’ve had issues with the quality of our wifi network. Simply Automated always said that we lived in a “super busy” area as we were across the street from an apartment building and 750 ft from a hospital. This never rang true to me given that control4 is used extensively in dense areas like Manhattan.In December of 2022, simply automated came onsite to Re-analyze our network and suggest ways to improve the network. The wireless nodes they suggested were outrageously expensive.I was complaining about the cost to a friend that also has a control4 system but with a different dealer. He offered to bring his people out to get a 2nd opinion.I took him up on the offer. They analyzed the system and found a node entirely unplugged in the basement and the remaining nodes were partially incompatible with one another. The original wifi nodes were “wifi 5” but they added an additional node years later to “fix” the problem and added a “wave 2 wifi 5” node. The other dealer said this was causing significant performance issues because of compatibility issues.When I notified Control4 of the assessment, Tom claimed they “did not do an analysis” of my equipment and instead he essentially fired me as a client of Simply Automated. His defense was almost as offensive as him firing me as a client because I got a 2nd opinion. I had a known wifi issue, as his client, and it seems he just had his employees send me a high priced “fix” with doing no work to refresh themselves on the previous installation (with unplugged and mismatched equipment).Since that time, I’ve been working with a new dealer and they were immediately able to provide me with a far superior network to what I had previously for a fraction of the cost that was quoted by Simply Automated to “fix” our wifi.

Tom was very professional and clearly explained everything thoroughly in the sales process. The install crew that came out did a quality job, cleaned up completely after finishing and explained how to use the new equipment in user friendly terms. They also were very professional and very nice like Tom is. I couldn’t be more pleased and very glad I chose to do business with them.
