After being served a PFA, I honestly had no clue what to do but curl up in a ball in bed and just cry. That’s when I started my research online about PFA’s and the process involved. My searches of over 100+ top attorneys in family law/PFA issues in the PGH area and the Amazing Attorney Todd Spivak was the repetitive search result, and most respected and highly regarded attorney in a variety of legal cases and fields, but especially in family law. I reached out to him the same day I was served my PFA, later in the evening and he immediately answered my call, listened to my story and side of the PFA and after careful and thorough analysis, he informed me he would take my case and that he was rather confident that it would end well in my favor. Well, it did! After a month+ long process of waiting for the hearing and all, Attorney Spivak was able to come to terms with the other party’s council and get the PFA dropped. I can’t thank Attorney’s Spivak and Canterbury both enough for the professional and positive end result in a truly stressful and difficult situation. Hopefully the need never arises again for me needing legal services, but I’ll be sure to come back to you if I need anything and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Spivak Law Group to anyone who is looking for help and aren’t sure who to call or what to do in any legal situation, particularly family/legal matters (PFA). Mr. Spivak is very professional and knew he could help with our case. He told us exactly what the plan was and how we need approach the trial. With his guidance all charges were dropped and I could move on with my life without the stress of a criminal past haunting me. If I ever need a lawyer again it will be Todd.

There is a reason Attorney Spivak receives great reviews. His communication was always prompt and thorough, he provided an initial consult without asking for fees up front (as many other attorneys do), his fees for the actual court cases were reasonable, he is willing to negotiate for you, he is professional, and most importantly, he keeps his word. He has my strong recommendation.

Mr. Spivak did an exceptional job with my highly unusual custody case. I had previous representation and after a year of mediations and hearings and being very unhappy with my representation, I acquired Todd's services after being referred by a friend. He was extremely invested and optimistic from the very start. His recall of intimate details pertaining to the case impressed me and made me feel confident in his ability to not only represent me at trial, but win my case. I recently hired Mr. Spivak to help me with a criminal case and a PFA case that would have had dire consequences if not handled correctly. Mr. Spivak was extremely respectful when we first spoke on the phone, and gave me a no-nonsense consultation before we met in person. During the whole process with both cases he was diligent, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, always kept in touch, and always answered any of my questions in a timely manner. Both cases ended up being withdrawn and dismissed. Although it’s obvious that not everyone will have the same results with their personal cases, I can definitely assure you that Mr. Spivak is a solid choice for an attorney. If I ever needed to hire one again, I would 100% go with his law firm.
