Steve Demasco's Shaolin Studios provides authentic Shaolin Martial Arts training in a family friendly community. The dojo is run by the kindest people, creating an incredibly welcoming and inclusive environment where students never feel out of place. It is described as the best community, one that is extremely welcoming and makes everyone feel at home and uplifted. For children, the studio offers a perfect balance of hard work, focus, and fun, which keeps them engaged and learning. The senseis are very good with little kids. The approach meets each child where they are at, recognizing their progress in not just forms and techniques, but also in focus and self-discipline. It is not a competition-based studio. Both families and adult students thrive here, noting great progress and a supportive atmosphere. The instructors are highly impressive, working students hard while maintaining a positive environment. Many students plan on a lifetime of training and highly recommend the studio.

This is a great dojo and a great martial arts community. Master Michele and her sensei team are welcoming, and they work with all levels of ability. I’m so glad that I joined. I feel challenged, supported, and I leave every class with a sense of calm.
