Such a great value during these days of ridiculous inflation. Clean, quiet, and deer like to hang out behind the building. Great for any traveler. I stay here for Steelers games.

Poor employee conversation with customer is what I had! Called to cancel my reservation at 5:30pm after I made it on line at 1:30pm & was told to call back tomorrow at 8am because "quote I can't doing " "you have speech to the manager "! He said that twice! I called back to see if could change my reservation to the following week because this was all do to a family member having a surgery date changed at the last minute! He again quoted the same thing! So I called back at 8am the next day! Guess who answered the phone! The same guy! He said oh hold on please! Oh hold on please! Who is this? I told him my name like I did the night before! He it this so & so? I said yes! He asked me again is this so & so? I said yes! He said your card was denied so I canceled your reservation! Ya my card was declined because I knew you was trying to scam me for a days room rental when I was trying to move my reservation to another date or cancel it since you pretended that you didn't know what you was doing! This ain't my first rodeo Mr foreigner!

Was treated poorly and forced to leave as paying customers. My family and i done nothing wrong. Was told if i wanted to stay i would have to pay 450 dollars cause of events in the city. As i was moving to a new location, i asked if i can leave and come back to move my belongings. I was told i could then they turned around and charged me 40 dollars without tell me as a late fee for not leaving. Never have i been treated so wrong and poorly in my life. If you stay here pay online or they will make up prices.Rooms: The room i stayed in was bad. Bathroom had broken sink and the tub /shower had a badly patched hole .

**CROOKS** This hotel along with Priceline are crooks. I was unable to keep my reservations due to a family emergency. The cancellation policy stated I get charged for 1 day as a cancellation fee, but the hotel is denying ANY refund. I filed with the ATTORNEY GENERAL consumer protection department and I'm filing in small claims court.

Stayed at the super 8 last night. Entering Room 202 had smelled of mold due to hottub,Couldn't open the windows to air out due to hornets nest out side window. Window had no screen. Could have given a better room due to we were 1 0f 2 guest in the whole hotel.

Hotels like this are super hard to rate. I would recommend it with a lot of caveats. If you're doing something in downtown Pittsburgh, this isn't convenient. If you're in town for something at the Monroeville convention center, it's maybe a 15 minute drive. The real draw of the place is the price. With fees, I booked it for just a bit more than $86/night. And for that price point, you can deal with a bit of a drive. Like most 1-2 star hotels, it needs some TLC. Replace stained curtain, carpet, or sheets, slap a new coat of paint here or there, tighten this fixture or that. If that is a dealbreaker, don't book. But at least when I stayed here, there was sufficient parking, the A/C worked without sounding like it was birthing gremlins, the place felt safe, and the room smelled like air freshener rather than pot, industrial cleaner, or axe body spray, all of which I've experienced at 1 star hotels. It is also next door to a Dunkin' Donuts, so if you a bit of caffeine to wake you up, it's just a few stumbles away.

This is my fault. I know better than to not check Yelp before booking. Are my standards for cleanliness and pride in establishment too high? You be the judge. Entering the room, I asked myself why is the door not shutting? Oh! The elbow hinge connected to the door is sticking into the wall behind the door in a previously made hinge-shaped hole.AC unit works great and is quiet. Bed is comfortable, firm and springy. Pillows are typical hotel pillows. What do you think they are stuffed with? They look plump but when you use them, they disintegrate look cotton candy. Open the fridge to put my drinks in and find someone has generously left me half of their 2 liter of soda. Of course I then wonder what else hasn't been cleaned. So I take a second and get up the nerve to go in the bathroom. Given the cigarette burns in the bed comforter, I was expecting worse. It does look recently cleaned, but not thoroughly. Hair in the corners of the floor, dirty, dusty baseboard, and more cigarette burns. Bottom line... we slept well and got a shower and we're on our way easily because it is a great location for travel on route 22. But I have to wonder if I could have said the same and had the same standards of cleanliness and pride in establish at one of the nearby $65-85 hotels.

Great value, limited but good free breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh. A relative attends college on the eastern side of Pittsburgh, so we stayed here for a week. Breakfast has one of my favorites, raisin bran, and also self-serve made-on-the-spot waffles (4 mini waffles instead of 1 big one), frosted flakes, toast. If they had hazelnut creamers it would have been a perfect breakfast for me.Everything worked in the room including the bathroom exhaust fan, which actually exhausted air (not just the fan moving with a blocked vent). I wish the window had a screen so I could let fresh air in without bugs flying in; instead just opened the window a tiny crack and ran the bathroom fan all the time. The shower drain was slow the 1st day, told front desk, was fixed that day.Made the reservation ~4 months ahead, and happened to catch a Wyndham sale, so it was a super bargain. At regular prices would still be a good deal compared to hotels in Pittsburgh. It's about a 30 minute drive on I-376 to where we usually had to go on the east side of Pittsburgh; traffic backups before the Squirrel Hill tunnel are annoying and routine, but if it's bad enough Google will re-route you through back roads. Can walk next door to Dunkin Donuts if you want, or for lunch cross the street and go to Rudy's Subs where many locals eat.In the photos the eating area from left to right shows: juice dispenser, coffee/hot water machine, cream & sugar & jelly, toaster, basket sometimes with bananas or pudding cups, cereal dispenser, waffle maker, bread bins, ice machine.

If you're trying to do anything in Holiday Park it's in a perfect spot and the step is super friendly and accommodating butt there's about 12 different odd smells between the lobby and your room in the hallway alone, dirty towels and a used needle were left in our room and most of the ceiling tiles have some stain or another on them. Sorry.

One of the most unpleasant experiences I have had in a hotel. Check in was quick and we headed to the room. It was clean so that was good but the faucet on our spa tub was leaking. The sheets and blankets were stained which I found odd. Our problem was when we went to sleep. The neighbors above us were walking and making noise all hours of the night. So we called the front desk at 1am, said they would call neighbors and hotel was booked so we could not move rooms. The noises continued, so we had to call at 2,3 and 4 AM. Mattress was also not comfortable! Went to the lobby for breakfast. There was no variety and no one was cleaning up the tables and the food area. This was truly and upsetting experience! Will never stay here again!!!! ??Nearby activities: There are a lot of places to go near by. so that was great!

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Not very clean, mirrors have a film of dirt, bathroom needs to be updated badly. The tub is gross. Toilet seat didn't look ckean. I used my sanitizer wipes to clean it. Also spotted a hair on the blanket & its not mine. Very noisy and it's currently 12:27 AM! Walls are thin. Can hear folks talking, babies crying, TV. First & last time for me. I wouldn't come here. Do not recommend. Terrible.

Check-in was quick. On the way to the room saw a chair in the lounge area that looked like it had been pulled from a trash dump, seat was so dirty you couldn't see the pattern on it. Get to the room and instantly upon entering we noticed the room was straightened up but not cleaned. We found food on the side of the spa tub and stuck on the sofa seat cushion. After settling in I looked in the spa tub to make sure it was clean before filling it and found a few stray pubic hairs in it. My wife looked around the bed for signs of bed bugs and didn't find any. But she did find a stained comforter and when she removed it found the bed we found more hairs on the blanket underneath. There wasn't a landline telephone in the room at all and the spa instructions on the wall to use the phone in the room for any emergency. Once we returned from dinner we used the spa tub to soak and relax. The chain lock on the door was installed backwards so it was rendered useless. The tv worked great and was able to be turned toward the the tub. Definitely needs some care.
