What would we do without the co-op? Focus on local and organic and wholesome foods. No bs. Have great assortment of veggies, especially mushrooms, and fruits! All that goodness can be found here, in always discovering new treats. We'd be lost without the co op (:

Thank you for the Thanksgiving Idea, steel rolled gluetin free oatmeal in Graham pie crust and pumpkin / sweet potatoe filling. Topped with ricotta cheese and honey. Great job

This is one of those places that seem to want to emulate Whole Foods. In this case, they're shooting way above their abilities. They seem to want to cater to the new breed of food shoppers that lean toward buzz words. If you want to cater to the vegan, organic, raw, gluten free kombucha crowd, this place would be ideal. In my case, I'm looking for a decent selection without all of the new age hype. I'm less concerned that my tofu is free range or my candy saves whales than I am about getting good value. The general feel is that this place is disorganized. Some things show up in many different locations while others don't seem to be where you'd expect. The labeling is also sketchy. I wanted buttermilk and followed the signs in the cooler only to find I was holding heavy cream. They had a buy one, get one free promotion with no prices. Nothing on the product and nothing on the shelf display. I suppose they expect you to take product to the front registers or customer service to find the price. I have to admit that the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I don't believe they make the best use of the available space. Many typical grocery items are severely under represented. The fish selection, for example, is extremely limited. A few coolers down, you'll find a huge selection of burritos. I'm not sure their priorities line up with the typical grocery shopper. There are far better shopping options out there. If you are happy with this place, by all means, keep shopping there. I, for one, will not be returning. Most places these days offer standard fare along with organic and vegan options that are well marked. The prices are far better and there are many more options. I'll leave you with this thought. This store offers one type of banana. It is triple the price of ones you can find in any grocery store. I left and went to Giant Eagle for my bananas.

Lots of good things to get. Some ate pricey. All kinds of things I never heard of too so I think if I'm ever cooking something that asks for a spice or herb I haven't heard of, I might find it here. I left with a few different types of kombucha, some shishito peppers, goat cheese, and some interesting looking jar of fermented vegetables. Easy parking in the lot. Entrance is on the road side.

They were so nice, they found lost funds held in escrow from the 1990's & immediately reopened my co-op membership & account.Other credit unions have closed my accounts & stole my money! True Story!

A great little place where you can find hard-to-locate items and specialty goods. Knowledgable, friendly, staff. Very community vibe.

I need to go back here. It's a great place for lunch and the store is a great place to replenish a vegan household. The prices are steep but worth it for the community.

I find nearly everything I expect to find at a co-op--bulk food/grains, tea, spices, cheeses, organic meat, tofu, tempeh, milk products, prepared food, and best of all fresh produce. Staff can't be nicer or more helpful.

I am glad I opened an account. They got me a decent interest rate on a scooter. I've been a member with the eefc for two years now. No complaints.

Best financial institution I have ever used. Excellent customer service, they give quick attention and focus to individual member accounts, and offer great resources for personal banking.

Small and oh so mighty!! Everything you would expect to be at a co-op and then some. Excellent selection of gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian items. Live plants, fresh bakery, fresh food for a grab-and-go. Lots of fun reusable items too to cut down on your plastic use. Checkout lanes went fast and service was extremely friendly. Not much to say here but go, what a great place.

The place is rather expensive but the items they carry you can't normally find in any other store, for example the non pasteurized non homogenized straight from the cow raw milk and then there is the chicken feet.

This is typically a good place to get local vegetables and high quality foods but unfortunately many of the people that work here are total mask Nazis and go around checking to see if your nose is poking out of your mask and start barking orders at you like you're an animal and assuming you have covid without actually being sure of it. I don't think they'll be seeing any more of my money until we get back to normal as a society and this paranoid lunacy ceases.

Such a pleasant experience! Line moved quickly and the security guard was a delight to talk to (he came out in the cold to keep me company when I was the only one left in line!)z I called ahead and when I found the customer service associate I spoke with, Lauren, she walked me to what I needed and then checked me out. So friendly and efficient and the store had that good vibe, earthy health food store smell. Will definitely be back when in Pittsburgh. They also had less expensive probiotics then what I was looking at at GNC- yay for reasonably priced gut health!
