My children have attended daycare and preschool at Tutor Time since 2017. Tutor Time uses apps called Watch Me Grow (live stream in classrooms) and Sprout About which allows teachers to post pictures and videos and provide daily feedback on diaper changes, feedings, bathroom visits, meals, kudos, etc. Weekly lesson plans and the weekly menus are also posted to preview.Throughout the year, families are invited in for special events, an annual art show, and a holiday show, to name a few. When we enter the building, we are always greeted by someone at the front desk. The environment is warm and inviting. We have many lasting relationships with multiple teachers, even when our children have moved on from their classrooms.Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided by the center, and Ms. Stephanie in the kitchen has gotten my children to try many more foods than I've been able to at home- and she shares recipes! We have had nothing but amazing experiences at Tutor Time. 5 stars, for sure!

This is the third full time daycare we have sent our kids to over the last several years and can say without hesitation, we love Tutor Time almost as much as we love our kids. We’ve been sending our youngest (4yo) for over a year now and they have done an amazing job at not just making her feel welcome and safe, but the growth she has shown in so many areas of learning and socializing is unreal. They have cameras that stream to their app so we can always peak in and see how she’s doing which gives us extra security and ease of mind. She is always telling us about how much fun she has each day and how much she loves her teachers. Management has also been super responsive, supportive, and kind. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great choice for childcare. Meals, diapers, and wipes included. Live streaming cameras and real time updates. The directors go above and beyond to maintain a fun and safe environment for the children. Indoor and outdoor play areas with lots of equipment and toys. Weekly educational lesson plans.

Our little one has been at Tutor Time since she was two. She's now in her last year of preschool. We love the curriculum, and our kiddo is very prepared for kindergarten: academically, socially, and emotionally. She has several good friends, and I love having a network of supportive parents working with the teachers. They have fantastic programs, like an evening art show. Wonderful way to start our daughter's education, and we highly recommend Ms. Christy, Ms. Monica, and the entire TT team!

In the endless search for reliable and desired childcare, I was lucky enough to get my children enrolled in Tutor Time of Pittsburgh. There are so many things to consider when choosing childcare like reliability, education, communication, cleanliness, and nutrition. Reliability and consistency: tutor time is open every weekday and my child consistently sees the same teachers and is in the same classroom with the same kids for a majority of the time. Classes do combine at the beginning and end of day.Education: in the last year my preschool son has not only learned his numbers and letters but can write out simple words, sound out words, and talks about different activities like science experiments and books he did at school.Communication: Tutor Time uses an application called sprout about where you can message the teachers and they can message back. They also send updates throughout the day including picturesCleanliness: each night they wipe down roomsNutrition: they provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, and milk. My son enjoys the meals and eats almost all of themIf you're looking for child care, give the team at Tutor Time a call!

We were so lucky they had an opening when our daycare closed. My son likes the private shuttle bus to school and the summer camp. They are dependable and open most days of the year.

I was nervous to return to work and send my son to daycare. I chose tutor time on the recommendation of a trusted friend. I love the curriculum and the cameras in the classrooms really set my mind at ease. The first year was great. I didn't like that you had to pay for food and diapers even if your child didn't use them but I figured my sons sensitive skin and food aversion were too blame and had no issue of the nominal fee as they made it clear before we signed up.Around the time my son changed classes there was also a director change, a member of tutor time corporate came to help in the transition and also during maternity leave of the new director. Within months everything changed for us. My son started screaming and crying when it was time to go to school. When he saw certain people in the hallways it was a total meltdown of epic proportion. When he was home he kept saying I'm sorry over and over, begging not to go back, promising to be good. The number of incident reports increased and he came home with more injuries than ever before. I started to watch the camera as much a I could and I saw the sleep cot of another child kicked while she was in it. I reported it, nothing was done. We started to look for look child care but it's so hard when so many places have such a long wait. Things continued to get worse for my son and it reached the point I couldn't keep my child there and we pulled him without alternate child care in place. I wasn't seeing anything on the camera when I could watch but his behavior was just too uncharacteristic and concerning to stay. His birthday was shortly after we pulled him so we sent invitations to the class before leaving. It was only then that I learned my child was observed on camera by another parent being abused by one of the teachers. The other parent reported it and despite the entire center being required to report any suspected abuse it was not reported to authorities, we the parents were never informed, and the camera footage was deleted. This center had a history of child abuse ( google it) and the problem goes to corporate as the corporate representative is the one that deleted the footage and smiled to my face every morning at drop of and every afternoon at pickup. Tutor time is a cash grab that takes advantage of parents in need of child care. The verbal and physical abuse is throughout the center. Teachers neglecting, degrading and abusing kids is common and most good teachers have left due to this.If you care for your children and their safety do not send your kids there. Some kids make it out fine but will yours be one of the lucky ones or will they end up being physically or verbally abused by one of the teachers that have no business around young kids.

Overall, we did not have great experience at TT. We were there 2.5 yrs, stuck really, because of lack of availability anywhere else. In that time, there was verbal and physical aggression towards children, high employee turnover, inauthentic staff members, the police were even there on one occasion for a staff member, no accountability from management. I arrived early to pick up my child and they were laying him down for a 2 hr nap saturated in urine, like soaked! I would not recommend this place. We couldn’t get out of here fast enough! They “seem” like a great facility. They “seem” to have sweet kid loving staff, but trust me it is different behind the scenes.

Be careful scheduling with this place.... you have to go through a 1800 number and they assure you there are spots available and there aren't. I saw another review about this same thing happening from a while ago so when the center called to confirm my tour the day before my visit I thought to confirm the available spot only to be told there isn't one. Good thing I didn't waste my time driving myself and my toddler all the way there because it would've been a complete waste of time.

As a rideshare driver, I took an employee there, and I was impressed at her knowledge and expertise. Seems like a great place to take your child for learning.

My honest opinion about this place. Overall daycare seems nice at first, meal included, life cameras, app for your phone, so many activities, promised outside activities twice a day every day weather permitted, and the price is pretty low compare to other places. So what can be wrong? First what I noticed the temperature. The lobby is very cold I was freezing to death while doing the paperwork, the director told me it’s only in that room, the kids rooms are much warmer. I trusted her. Then our first day we came to drop her off, we were allowed to come inside the room, and here what I see, 2 kids sitting on the chairs wrapped in blankets. And then the teacher comes to one of them are you still cold? I’m like this room doesn’t seem warm at all, it’s like maybe 60 in there. And they were like oh it’s not just warmed up yet, even the time was 8-20 and daycare opens at 6-30. Then when my daughter came home next day said it’s super cold. I start watching the cameras non stop, and noticed even the teachers wear hoodies all the time. So please be aware the temperature super uncomfortable! My daughter had runny nose all the time after each visit. So many excuses, it’s not warmed up yet, we don’t use that room, oh your room attached to the kitchen we have to make sometimes littler cooler. Then other things I didn’t like. Then didn’t go outside for multiple days. The weather was 73 degrees, sunny. I called and spoke to one of the directors, Michael, he said they didn’t go outside because of short stuff one of the teachers on vacation. What I see in the cameras, it’s 13 kids and 3 teachers. They really can’t take kids outside? What kind of experience do the teachers have not able to watch 13 kids at the playground. So when the other director came back from vacation and called me to ask how is our first week, I told her it’s a nonsense to me that kids not going outside because of short stuff. And she was like I’m sorry I don’t know why he told you this, we only don’t go outside if bad weather or kids are busy by different activities, they go at least once a day outside ( and whenever we did a tour we were promised twice a day). Even tho there is is PA code 3270.114 children shall be taken outside daily, not in this daycare. Now let me tell you different activities, the kids are walking around just bored, find their own activities. The teachers passing by them like they are not even there. So heartless. They seemed like they hate their job. On top, you know how they waking up the kids? They walk around between nap time cots, and just tap with their feet the cots. Yes, no one is gonna tell kids to wake up. Seemed like teachers are too lazy to sit over the crib to wake up the kids. I wouldn’t like if someone smashed my bed with their feet to wake me up. The tablet play time 20 mins, it’s also another fairy tail. I noticed kids spending hours with tablets there. There is way more than that. Thank you to live cameras, you can see the real Tutor time, heartless teachers and bored kids. That daycare would be nice, if they would have experienced teachers and better indoor temperature, and less lies. Location , price and features like app and live cameras are great tho. That’s our experience, and what we saw at this place.

I love Tutor Time! My son is in the early toddler room. The lead teacher does a weekly curriculum with focused developmental activities. The communication is great and they send me pictures throughout the day. They do art projects weekly if not more. They provide meals and diapers, which is a huge help for the morning rush. They send the meal plan for the next week before the week starts.Highly recommended!!
