I used the contactless pick up and drop off and as long as you are good with a smart phone, it was super easy to use. When you show up, you open the app and uhaul tells you exactly what to do, where to pick up the key from a lock box, and which truck is yours. I added someone else as a driver and uhaul sent him an approval text and he uploaded a picture of his ID and said the process was seamless. I was really happy with it! It made my moving day stress free! I didn't have to wait in any lines or talk to anyone. It was great! I just showed up and was on the road in 5 minutes! If you plan on using this method, go into the app and "check in" the day before so its quicker when you pick up.The only issue I had was that when I picked up the truck, it was legitimately on empty; no gas at all. Luckily there was a gas station right next door that we were able to pop over to and fill up the tank. I was only taking it about 15 miles, but I filled it up a little more than that with 7 gallons so that the next person wasn't in a bind like I was when I picked up the truck. I'm not going to donate a tank of gas to a big company, but obviously the staff isn't going in and filling the tank before the next person picks it up. I also was surprised that the truck was dirty inside. It looked like everyone takes out all their trash etc, but nobody has actually vacuumed it out in over a year. cupholders were sticky, there was dirt and dust everywhere, and the cab smelled like smoke and sweat. I mean, it was drivable and there was no actual trash in the cab, but it was not clean by any means.All and all, it was fine. If it wasn't for the gas tank I would be very happy with the experience.

Friendly staff, but they refused to rent to someone with a foreign license. U-Haul's website and Pennsylvania's DOT both confirm that a visitor with a foreign licence is completely legal to rent a U-Haul. The staff at this location need to learn their own rules and stop making things up by themselves.

I spent 1/2 hour on the phone trying to get through to ask a question about trailer hitches they sell. After waiting interminably and listening to obnoxious music, I think I got to a person twice, but was disconnected and had to re-start the phone tree and holding process. I'm tired of businesses that disregard the value of customers' time.Finally gave up and called a local mechanic - sole proprietor. Much better customer service.

Checked in online. Followed the procedures. Located the truck by its truck number. Contacted the virtual reservation agent who approved the reservation, accepted pictures of our drivers licenses, and personally contacted us via cell phone. Asked a driver for the keys, showing him our reservation. Wouldn't give them to us. Made us wait in line for more than 1 hour. Asked him what the point of online check in was, he said that if we didn't like it we could go to another store.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and dismissive. So much so that I walked out after 5 minutes due to her arrogance. I didn't catch her name but she was in her later stages of life and had lighter hair in a bun. I took my business to the North Shore location where they truly understand exceptional customer service despite living a 5 minute walk from this location. I'd rather drive across town in Pittsburgh traffic than ever give that woman my business.
