“Very well curated antique shop with unique finds. Found two really great pieces for my home. The owner was also great and we heard him helping a customers daughter with math that she had been learning in school(at the customers request). What a fun and memorable way for that child to learn. Super lovely vibe! Will definitely be back!”
“Had such a blast at this antique store, a perfect Sunday the husband and wife were such a joy gave us a great deal on our two tailgates! Everything was so nice and organized”
“Alayna is always so kind and accommodating. From altering a skirt for me right there in the store, to allowing me to rest there when I overheated, she is always ready to lend a hand and make your experience at Vintage 416 an amazing one.”
“I can’t resist a resale store so I stopped in on a whim and was thrilled to discover this shop. Small and very organized, there’s a good variety of styles and sizes. Found the perfect dress for an event I have coming up, NWT for an amazing price, plus the owner gave me a little discount! She was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by. Cash or check only (there’s a bank with an ATM across the street.)”
“Update: I decided to give Fifty One Ten another chance during first fridays in August. With confidence, I can say that they have redeemed themselves. Prices are once again pretty fair and it is definitely possible to score some good deals again. The jewlery is especially good to look at! Customer service has stayed on point, even when this place went through their expensive phase.
Original review: Fifty One Ten usually has pretty great selection but the price gouging is getting a bit ridiculous. I understand that it is a "vintage" shop more akin to the Buffalo Exchange but $25 for a heavily stained sweater with holes in it is far too much. Checking this place out is a good idea but be prepared to spend a pretty penny.”
“Lovely local vintage shop. With all the thrifting we have done over the years, I am unsure how we missed Scott and Kayla at three rivers. The shops a gem! Tons upon tons of items from nippon glass to mens/womens fashion & the BEST PART, the earliest they have is the 70s (you know, when clothes were actually made well). The experience alone is worth it. Scott and Kayla are so accommodating and make sure you have the shopping experience that fits you. If you want to chat, they’ll chat. If you want to shop, they’ll let you shop. They are both very knowledgeable in their craft and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Last but not least, YES, they have a fitting room!
THEY ARE APPOINTMENT ONLY
-you can schedule via phone call or an instagram dm.
Do not wait to visit this shop. 10/10-highly recommend.”
“I stepped into this shop for the first time yesterday while on a visit. I didn’t have a lot of time to explore in-depth, but I did snatch up a couple of great pieces. The organization by waist size made browsing easy, the owner was warm and polite, and the selection is top-tier. I’m definitely coming back!”
“What a great store! As an avid men’s clothing aficionado, I could spend all day in here. There are tons of high-quality clothes for amazingly low prices. I found a pair of pleated vintage wool Brook’s Brothers slacks that are impossible to find. Left with those and a pair of seersuckers. The owner is super-friendly and helpful…even after I knocked down an entire shelf of product *sad trumpet*. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town!”

“I just love popping in here and talking fashion with Jackie! Shes so kind and knowledgeable. She pulls in some fantastic pieces and it's always such a treasure hunt when I stop in! I love that she has a separate rack for all of her high-end pieces. Definitely a must-stop in Pittsburgh for designer resale!”
“My wife and I had to check this out this weekend on an anniversary trip to Pittsburgh. We found a lot of cool stuff and a few great deals. Plenty of unique items to make the trip worthwhile. Definitely worth a stop. The two ladies working the front were super nice and helpful!!”
“Arlene the owner is absolutely amazing! Her shop is a true boutique- it’s a gem. The store is clean and well organized. It’s obvious she pays a lot of attention to detail. You always feel welcome! I highly recommend this shop! A+ all the way around.”
“On a business trip to Pittsburgh, my suitcase got drenched. I had to find some dry clothes and suitcase fast. Salvation Army was a godsend. Managed to find a shirt and pants that fit me, of good quality that I wore to a business meeting. Worked well!”
“Nice selection and pretty nice and knowledgeable staff. Wide selection of jerseys, t-shirts and general streetwear. Was one of my faves when compared to the selection on carson st.”
“It's amazing how such a huge collection of beautiful vintage clothes and home goods can fit in such a tiny place! This is a fun place to visit. Lots of cool stuff to look at and the owner is very friendly. You may just walk out of there with a gift for someone or yourself!”
“Love this place! The pieces are carefully selected and marketed. Great social media presence and the girls are super responsive to messages.
All of my pieces are highly complimented, def the best vintage spot in town.”
“We love mary ellen!!! If you are looking for unique decorations or anything that you think is cool you will find it here!! Stop by here you won't be disappointed.”

“Fantastic, unique selection - not to mention reasonably priced. A color buffet with pieces you can't find anywhere else (and I've never before seen). The owner is so sweet and helpful! I can't wait to visit again.”
“Very interesting store. Let me say they have a little bit of everything. Decor, furniture, shoes, clothes, purses. I was quite impressed by the selection. If you want to check this store out I would allocate at least an hour for your visit.Definitely trended towards higher end. Tory Burch and Loubitin as examples.Overall fairly nice store and I look forward to making it part of my regular rotation.”
“This place is wonderful. Clean and what’s so nice about the store is she doesn’t just have clothes but household items. There also is an entire section with furniture. Worth stopping in. One of my favorite consignment shops around!!”
“Almost didn't want to give it 5 stars because I didn't want more people to know about the BEST thrift store in the area!! ?Amazing and for the most amazing cause. Their 99 cent weekend sales are amazing and happen monthly.”
“Great place to visit and some some gems. We visited today during a quick lunch break and will need to return when we have more time to really dig in and browse. So many goodies there!”
“I found all kinds of cool stuff for my wife and kids here and everything was priced reasonably. Everyone working here was super kind and friendly! Check out this sweet Pens hat I found! Oh and they're a non profit so proceeds go to charity!”
“One of the only places in Pittsburgh to find Men's and Women's vintage and contemporary high end label fashion. Being a recent NYC transplant, I will say that I was unexpectedly surprised to find labels by high end designers that I don't see anywhere else in town. Makes me feel like I have a little bit of access to designers I buy in NYC and other large cities.
It's hit and miss and would be nicer if they were able to add new inventory on a more frequent basis. So maybe drop in once a month or so.
They also buy quality used pieces and offer a mostly fair price. They are very selective on items they purchase so keep expectations low on walking out with a fistful of cash.”
“I’m from out of town and was soooo excited to pop into my FAVORITE consignment shop away from home and…..again this gem of a shop did not disappoint! Lisa and her associates were FABULOUS as always!!! And of course I left with AMAZING GOODIES!!!!
The secret is out!!! This consignment shop is a must for designer clothes, shoes and bags!!! It’s heaven!”
“The best Goodwill I've ever been to for clothing. I went in WANTING a black puffy vest for fall and winter expecting to leave with nothing. I walked in and saw two perfect vests right there. I ran to them. Fit amazing. Got both.Tons of clothing to pick from.Very very long lines but who cares when you get name brand things for amazing prices.Would highly recommend. I definitely plan on coming back more often!!”
“3.5 stars. This second-hand store sells women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories in a variety of sizes and styles. I shopped here and did not sell anything. During my visit, the brands were a mixture of some designers, some name-brands, and some brands with which I was not familiar. Prices were reasonable. I waited in line for several minutes to check out. I purchased one shirt, and the cashier thanked me.”
“Avalon Exchange has a great staff who is very knowledgeable about vintage clothing and fashion trends. The store is consistently stocked with great items for fair prices. This is one of the best places to buy and sell clothing in Pittsburgh!”
“They make you launder your clothes before selling them, which is more than a lot of thrift stores will do. Just watch out for stains especially on the underarms and tears.”
“Great place to find an assortment of dresses in smaller sizes. Prices aren't much different than the retail stores unless you hit the sales rack. But lots of other treasures like leather jackets and special occasion shoes priced reasonably. Owner is kind and customer service oriented. She also has a really nice luxury handbag and sunglass selection. Overall ..Worth a visit!!”
