the gentleman today was incredibly helpful and patient with me. he gave me all the right forms and helped me seal my envelopes. told me where to fill out which information.
there were definitely cars parked where they shouldn't be, with an empty lobby, but i was able to grab a spot.

Today is the 13th of May, last month your employees of this address could not find money orders, Today the same incident happened. The clerk was on the phone asking somebody where she could service the customers. The male had no idea what to tell her. Your cameras will verify this. Either your employees are incompetent, which is obvious, or never a good idea to loose money orders. Maybe time to close this establishment, if the Postal Service can not service the public, Close Up the facility. The Republican Party is not a friend of incompetance. I was one of three customers who walked out because of this lunacy. God Bless!

This is the only post office that never has parking available for its customers. Both sides are completely filled and along the wall is not for parking but still filled and no one is in the post office. Handicap is typically available for those who require it. Worst post office in the city.

The blue collection boxes outside no longer have a door for small packages! That means, if you live nearby and are a walker that works normal working hours, then you wont be able to ship out anything other than letters!
I could understand if this post office was open NORMAL post office hours, but the hours are super limited. I have a side business where i sell very small things like stickers, pins, etc. and if its after hours, usually I am able to drop my tiny packages into the collection box outside and then cary on running errands (downtown etc)
Well I found out yesterday on my way to the trolley that they bolted the doors shut on the collection boxes. I didn't bring a bag to carry my mail so I had 8 or 9 envelopes and small packages I had to take with me to the trolley, to the mall, and then back home. I tried finding other nearby collection boxes but the one by the river says “no packages, pnc park goers dump their trash in here so use at your risk”
Make your hours make more sense for most working people! Or at least have extended lobby hours so people can access the inside dropboxes and drop off prepaid mail!
Also - I do utilize the package pickup feature occasionally. However my mail carriers no longer scan packages at pickup. The last time any of my pickups had been scanned was maybe 5 years ago. None of my packages get scanned at pickup since, and on two separate occasions Ive had one or two packages LOST before it ever gets scanned. Likely the mail carrier that picked it up had dropped it on the street somewhere. But even though I have INSURANCE on those packages, they will do nothing about it because there was never a pickup scan. So I am out product and money when that happens. I had called and complained multiple times (my carrier is from the California ave station) and the manager there just kinda scoffs about it.
Either offer longer hours, bring back the door on the collection bin, or make sure your employees follow through with the pickup service thats offered. If all 3 of those things cant happen, how is anyone supposed to get their mail out?

My package says it was delivered but it was NOT! They never answer or respond to complaints. This should be illegal bc our mail is extremely important and can decipher situations good or bad.

I am giving this post office 1 star for the repeatedly bad customer service I receive here every time I come to this location. I will increase the stars from 1 to 2 stars if this location ever gets knocked down.

Edit: Over a year later and my package is apparently still there.
