If you come for your passport, yes, you are supposed to walk in through that nondescript blue door around the far left corner! I wish that the door were labeled, but the staff is all warm and accommodating and will help you find where you need to go.

I was pleasantly surprised by my passport experience. Rick made it easy and fun. I made an appointment ahead of time for both photos and passport name change. Rick had me in and out in less than 15 minutes!

Wow! Thought I was the only one with horrible service. I have complained for years about mail delivery service. Or lack of it. Mailman wouldn't deliver our mail. After a complaint, it would pick back up then go away. Now, they won't respond to me. Plus, they quit delivering mail to me. Apparently the USPS requires only a 4th grade education to get hired.

I have been there many times, and found the staff helpful and courteous. No complaints!

(This likely applies to each and every location across the country.)
If you have an issue with missing mail, you still be shunted to use the website.
The only time the post office will provide service to an individual is if there's a Transaction tied to it. (Stamps, pay postage at the counter, etc).
Otherwise, they want nothing to do with you.

Worst customer service ever, constantly loosing packages. Mail personnel scan package as delivered, but don't leave the package.

There is a postman who likes to do his own rules for delivering mail. He wrote my whole government on my mailbox. I removed the label on the mailbox and he stopped delivering mail to both me and my girlfriend for a week. I was expecting a check, but because of the postman actions, he returned my check and I'm unable to get ahold of the sender. The postman is about 30-40 and have blonde hair. When going to this post office to complain, the service member didn't help In tracking down the mail I need and instead made it seem like it's normal to choose not to deliver mail because my name was on there. The mailman excuse is that they don't want to deliver the wrong mail but was delivering the wrong mail prior. Doesn't explain why you didn't deliver my gf mail even when her name is on the mailbox. In other locations, mailmen do not worry about names and instead do their job and just deliver..... They also closed our request ticket stating that they mailman thought the apartment was vacant but my girlfriends name was still on the mailbox name so it doesn't make sense why both of us didn't get mail for a week because My name was removed.

Got a call 40 minutes before my schedule appointment asking if I was coming? I told him yes, he said “you’re not on your way” meanwhile I live 5 min from the office. Get there 10 min early, forgot my ID, called him to notify him of this and that we’d be right back, he told me since it was “too close” to my appointment I had to reschedule. Very rude. Meanwhile he told us on the phone he wasn’t even at the office yet this entire time

Absolutely horrible service. The only thing I would recommend related to this office is avoidance.

Absolutely terrible. I have had to call and file different reports at least 4 x in a year because my mail wasn't being delivered. Unacceptable. Can't say much for Denver Colorado anymore but at least they got the mail delivered. Time for an FTCA attorney for some direction on this.

Brought a package with a ebay prepaid label to be shipped to a customer. Box was 36x12x3. That was June 14th. Tracking says waiting for package. THIS IS NOW JUNE 20TH. CALLED THE 1 800 POST OFFICE NUMBER AND ALL I GOT WAS AUTOMATED CRAP. FORGET ABOUT CALLING THIS POST OFFICE THEY DON'T ANSWER. SO THE PACKAGE HADNT BERN SCANNED. I TSLKED TO A FEW RETIRED POSTAL CLERKS. WHAT HAPPENS IS THAT BEFORE THEY SCAN THE PREPAID LABEL, THEY OPEN THE PACKAGE. AND THROW AWAY THE BOX. THUS IT NEVER GETS SCANNED AND YOU CANT TRACK IT. NOW I CANT EVEN FILE A INSURANCE CLAIM. PLUS IM OUT THE MONEY OF WHAT THE BUYER ON EBAY PAID. PLUS THE MERCHANDISE THAT WAS STOLEN. THIS POST OFFICE IS KNOWN FOR THEFT. BE VERY AWARE.
THEY SHOULD PRIVATIZE THE UNITED STATES PUKE OFFICE

Rick in the passport office was freaking phenomenal. Called me earlier in the day to tell me exactly what paperwork was needed, what to make copies of, etc. In and out in 12 minutes. There's no better passport processing in Pittsburgh, I promise you people.
