They are STILL closing for lunch even though they updated their hours that they’re open 9-5. I am here at 130 on a Monday and they’re closed for lunch again.

I see people drop prepaid packages off inside all day. They said that is fine to do. Well, apparently not close to closing time. One employee there typically has an "I hate you for being here" attitude. I made it right before closing time on a Saturday and another customer was already in line so I decided to skip the attitude by leaving my package on the dropoff counter for her. Weeks later, my eBay buyer tells me they never got the package. It wasn't even ever scanned. So did the employee steal it? Throw it in the trash? I filed a complaint (difficult) and the manager said "whelp, nothing we can do. You can't prove you dropped it off. Wait in line next time." They lied to me and said there "are no cameras" in the building to check. There literally are. Unacceptable behavior all around. Obviously they do not care about you or your mail. I drive twice as far to avoid this location because I cannot trust them at all. Thieves at worst, neglectful at best.

I walked into the West View Park Dr post office in Pittsburgh today at 4:59pm. They were closing at 5:00 but all I had to do was drop a package off that was already labeled and ready to go. The door was still unlocked. I walked in and said to the postal worker, "Hi, I just have to drop this off. I apologize". She responded rudely, "Not with that label you ain't"! There was a label on the bottom of my box that I was unfamiliar with. Apparently it meant The contents were hazardous and could not be shipped by air. (I later looked up the label and that's not what it said). Anyway, I proceeded to peel the sticker off so that I can leave The package to be shipped out tonight. The employee told me she didn't have time to wait and she was closed. It literally would have taken 1 minute if that. She was very inconsiderate snd rude. It's the holiday season and many people are trying to get things shipped out in time for Christmas. I just can't believe someone could be that ignorant and not spare 60 extra seconds. She instructed me to go to the McKnight Road location because they were open until 6:00.

Even when I was being a "Karen" to get an address changed after a death, the woman who worked there did her job well, despite having her hands tied due to newer regulations. I hope she understands I'm not mad at her - she's cool - I'm mad that I had to jump through a ton of hoops including the full probate process in another state and still received pushback out of USPS's fear of fraud.Make sure you have all your court docs ready showing you are the executor or administrator of the estate before you go.

Have never been to a post office that closes for lunch, and I travel all over. Didn't post a reopen at x time sign, and instead of letting customers wait in the lobby they are outside. In freezing temperatures. Ridiculous. Will not be back to this one.

I am so thankful to have this post office as an alternative to the McKnight Road clusterfudge. This post office has been nothing but helpful and kind every time I go. This most recent trip, however, I was blown away at the level of care and service I received from Cheryl. She was very patient, kind, and communicative in assisting me with mailing out three separate certified mail items, and she set expectations with me every step of the way. In a world where good or bad customer service can make or break the customer experience, Cheryl absolutely blew me away with how efficient she was while making me feel extremely welcome instead of a nuisance like the McKnight Road post office has made me feel previously.Thank you, Cheryl! Give her a raise, powers that be!

Second time here, two times consecutive worst post office experience. The lady who works at this location has a very rude demeanor and speaks in a condescending manner to patrons.Save yourself the hassle of being mistreated and visit a different USPS location until they change or replace the woman that works there.

Dropped off a SmartPost package to this post office, never got scanned in. Contacted USPS about it, and they told me the post office never got it. That's funny. Thanks USPS, I'm out $60. Will use FedEx if I want to make sure my mail is handled properly.
