The website and hours posted on the door for the window are they open at 8 am M-F. I arrived there at 8:02 and the door was locked. There were employees in the building but no one came to open the doors. I waited for 20 minutes and had to leave to get to work on time. I just wanted to make sure I had enough postage on the large envelope I was sending. But instead I put what I hoped to be enough stamps on the letter and sent it on its way!

The post office always gets a bad wrap but the Blawnox location is fast, efficient and friendly. The desk staff is great and I really appreciate Alex’s work in responding to customer’s questions and getting stuff dobe

Staff were all very nice. Got my fingerprints done with no issues.
Do note the guy who does the fingerprints has a lunch break. Also, hard to reach the office by phone to get an appointment, but when I did I was told to just walk in.

I wish negative stars was an option. Waited 15 mins in like for my passport picture to then be told the guy was on break when I had an appt. Waited another 20. Person at desk was a complete jerk about it too.

New staff is very rude. A blond lady with purple glasses should not be working there. She treats people with an attitude. She is unpleasant and disrespectful.

Update: the package I sent hasn’t moved in two weeks, it’s now lost and I’m out $90 because of that girl.The girl with the purple glasses is absolutely miserable and shouldn’t be working in any kind of job that is people facing, and she’s not just unpleasant in demeanor. I simply wanted to use the tape on the counter since the label from the kiosk wouldn’t stick to the box I had, and she took the time to tell me that she “didn’t have time” and “couldn’t hear me” with the nastiest attitude and an eye roll. Her colleague was much more gracious and took the package for me while he was helping another person, which was more than I was asking for. This is my family’s local post office and I would hate for others to have to run into her. Avoid that purple rimmed monster at all costs. She also has frizzy hair; if she changes her glasses, I wouldn’t want for people to have a run in with her. Though you’ll know her from her face - she has an expression as though she’s smelling something disgusting.

USPS employee, Alex, was super helpful and efficient with getting my passport paperwork and photo submitted. Easy to make an appointment and knowledgeable staff!

Most of the staff here are pretty nice and efficient. Danielle (blonde girl with tattoos), however, clearly hates her life and goes out of her way to be an unpleasant person.If a manager would like to reach out and ask what happened, please do.

Haven’t received my mail all week, and since I subscribe to USPS delivery notification, I know what’s to arrive every day. When I went to the post office to inquire, I was told first, the service I subscribe to is not accurate and secondly there was a mail ‘dump’ problem which resulted in all the mail being sent back to be resorted. I find these mere excuses for having no idea what’s happened to my mail. What ever happened to taking pride in your work and personal responsibility? SO disappointed!
