Just took a package to the Swissvale Post Office and not only was it clean and organized, but the service was great. Didn't get the name of the young woman who helped me. She was so pleasant and not that fake niceness one often encounters.

Cyndi was very nice and helpful. But for no reason at all, my package could not be sent. I was informed by text that the ZIP Code was wrong. But when I called the company, it was the correct ZIP Code. I tried calling the US PO main number and it was horrible The connection kept breaking up, and the robot never listened to me And I had to leave a message for a return call later. I tried resending the package through the post office But they never sent me a code through text to continue the message. Dead end. I will wait for the phone call in 15 minutes. If that doesn’t work, I will drive back to the post office and see if The nonexistent problem

Courier complaint, we specifically ask the Post Office to leave the mail inside of the complex's entryway, still find it outside sometimes. At least it gets here, but come on, it's apartments.
The day that something important gets mussed up by the elements will be a bad day.

This may be more or a review of the system than this location, but the apparent understaffing here did not help. I had a package delivered to the PO Box here. USPS sent me a notice that the package was available for pick up. When I went to get it I was told that before it could go to the PO Box it had to be scanned by ...a few more people...There was a line and I knew that pushing on this meant that the people on it would have to wait at least 30 min while they moved a package 100 ft at the most to be scanned into a system that already had it marked for pickup. Better to try again and "enjoy" more comedy.

The old woman at the front with different colors of hair is clueless. I feel bad for her. She should be retired or working someplace with less demand. She is rude and extremely slow. There is usually a line out into the lobby for zero reason. Get people in and out. Some people are just there picking something up. No one in the back helps. The other worker Cindy is awesome. She gets people in and out. This older woman needs to go. Lastly, the comments about missing mail and mixed up mail are totally true. This has been going on for years.

5 * on one very nice lady at desk but a lot of odd things going on there with mail being stold. My life ins policy mail missing. My rent ins policy missing & more. All important mail goes missing from there . Very odd. A key to mail box stold when only me & 1 person knew about it. That tells me some kind of pay off with a mailman. Other things go missing. There needs to be a security cam on mail boxes there .Also noticed worker running out handing something to cars that pull up out back. Didn't know mail could be delivered that way. Have RE ordered all important things curious to see what happens. I also get a lot of other people's mail.

I would love for someone to help out this post office. I sell on Etsy and use post offices regularly. This is my least favorite and the closest to my house.(1) Please hire more people to wait on customers(2) Seems like there is never anyone in the back who comes up to help. People come and go from the back, but never jump on the register(3) Poor Janelle: She waits on everyone and the machines often don’t work (Ex: printing the shipping labels)(4) An electronic self serve station in the lobby would be a game changerIf you’re in a rush, go to Braddock (there is never a line and the place is huge). Or, drive all the way around the bridge closure so you can go to Squirrel Hill. The amount of time it takes you to do that will equal the amount of time you spent standing in line at Swissvale.

Horrible post office. I would give zero stars if I could. Workers Really rude and not helpful at all will drive to Braddock or any other post office to avoid this one

Our mail carrier, Eric, is the best mail carrier I've ever had, and I have lived in many places across this country, I always get good service in the post office as well. Sometimes there is a line, but no different than any other post office I've used. We get much better service from our local post office that we get from FedEx. Thank you for the hard work!

The driver’s have left packages at the wrong address repeatedly. The latest is two boxes of Xmas gifts that were ripped open and had everything stolen. Our address is not hard to read, these carriers are just illiterate or something.
