I had my first experience with the Plum Borough, PA Post Office today, and it will be my last. I was shipping 3 orders I received, and the postal worker gave me problems, the like I have never had before. I know, if I use a medium size priority mail box, that unless I am actually shipping it priority, that there cannot be any UPC codes that are exposed. In these instances, I turn the box inside-out, so that the craft interior of the box is showing. I have used this method for shipping items from Monroeville, Murrysville and Apollo, and not one postal worker has ever said a thing, even though I was shipping Ground Advantage. Not this place, the clerk would not accept my package. On a third package, which was quite large, I used a sliver of a priority express box at the end to create a final enclosure for the rest of the box. This clerk made me get a piece of paper and purchase a $4 roll of tape to cover up the one exposed word, Priority. I was beside myself. Now 2 of my packages are going to be a day late, because this clerk had an opinion that differed from every other post office I have dealt with recently.

Three times now I’ve had packages returned to the sender either without me ever getting a notice or with me returning the return mail slip, signed and filled out, but never getting my package or any kind of follow up notification. Now I have to pay $20 to get this thing reshipped when they should’ve just given me the damn package the first time.

Just left this post office after being harassed and verbally abused by the postal service workers. The lady that works in the back is the nastiest and rudest person ever. I have a business and dropped off packages. They get annoyed because they don’t wanna deal with me. They told me to take my packages somewhere else. I spend a lot of money on shipping through usps, thousands each week. I asked for a cart, and the lady brought a little cart out instead of a bigger cart today on purpose to be rude. I said I can’t fit them in this cart. The lady started ripping the cart out of my hands and said o well we aren’t taking your stuff. I put the 20 packages back in my car cause I didn’t trust them with my stuff. Now my packages are going to be late. This lady needs to be fired. I can’t believe someone would treat someone this way at a post office. Especially that’s right down the street from where I live. I’m hoping usps contacts me back soon about this. It’s unacceptable.

After calling the Monroeville office for two day, I called our Plum post office to see if there was another phone number for me to try. The clerk that answered was extremely helpful, as always at Plum's office. I appreciated her help and hopefully will hear from Monroeville to have our issue resolved. Great job at Plum, always pleasant and helpful!

One employee during Christmas shows how they run a business and lose money. The key master at the door for lunch is a real treat. Who closes and locks the door for an hour? USPS thumbs down again

Marci-GreatEverything Else-YuckThe staff isn’t able to service the volume of customers effectively for this location. And by staff I mean the one person working the register. I actively avoid trying to mail things so I don’t have to go here. ??♂️??♂️

Call police on a citizen with a camera who has the right to take pictures in a post office.

I can understand closing for lunch between 1 and 2. But I show up at 12:50 and the doors are locked already with no notice of such on door is pathetic.

I was in there today for the first time and talked to a old lady and she told me that she was there a little while ago and this young Male cashier was waiting on her and told her it would be at least 7bucks to mail a package, that would normally be a $1.50. She said forget that and went to the Penn hills post office and they charged her only $1.50. She told penn hills bout that and the guy laughed and acted like he knew about the thief at the plum post office. She said I think hes pocketing the extra money, I said, sounds like it

What kind of business closes at 1 and then reopens at 2. Why not just stay open for the people who go on lunch can come in and mail stuff
