Way overpriced. My least favorite supermarket in the entire USA. Expect to pay a few to several dollars more for anything and everything. Biggest Rip of of the entire county.

This place was awesome. I have just moved to pittsburgh, and finding my way around has been tough. Trader joes whole foods the co op. Not alot of selections. But this place oh my goodness!! And a bar for beer and wine to boot. This may be where I do my weekly shopping!! Keep up the good work!

I'm so upset they closed down the Shakespear location. The meat selection was better. The bread and veggies where fresher. It wasn't so crowed in the morning. You also have to buy the larger size of everything. The prices are ridiculous. They shut down the giant eagle that most of the blacks went too. SMH.

Meatloaf meal is too salty. I liked the carrots. The potatoes were underwhelming. I had to buy I had to buy (2) 240 ml of bc their order of 1/2 gallon milk did not come in. I did get black tea w/ lemonade. It was good.

I was in the area and decided to shop at the Giant Eagle Market District instead of going to Whole Foods. What a mistake that was. I find the prices are higher at Giant Eagle than any other supermarket. I also did not think they had the greatest selection. I found the parking to be be terrible and I literally waited about 10 minutes for a spot?????? The one thing I do like is when you shop at the Giant Eagle you can use the scanner which makes shopping much faster. I like the regular Giant eagle much better than the Market district. I also find the prices are better at the regular Giant Eagle. I do not think I would ever go back again unless I had to.

This store does have a tendency to get busy and be difficult just getting in and getting parked. The store itself is huge and definitely has a wide selection of products. We tend to just stop at this one if we are in the area and need a few things. For this review I am mainly focusing on the beer/wine section. They have a great selection available and offer a ton of local options, which I love to see. The beer cooler has a section just for local craft. I on more then one occasion have found some great beers at a great deal in the mix your own six pack selection. I look every time I am there, even if we aren't planning on getting beer. Recently I have been noticing the beers they have on tap. They don't have a bar at this location, just a small number of tables tucked in the back corner. Also apparently they can only ring up one draft at a time, which is odd. However, they have had a phenomenal tap list lately. We have seen beers that are difficult to find in this area, plus local craft options. The prices are always reasonable as well.

This is the Christmas season. Please stop racial profiling African Americans when we shop at your stores. Especially store #3064. We pay your bills you don't pay ours. I have complained about racism at your stores for years please stop following us around.

I was at the Market Distict today I was approached by a customer I guess, Said I was disrespectful to a relative I suppose. Of course I had no idea what he was talking about. He threatened me several times saying I should step outside and fight him. I go to the Market District often I sure will think twice going back to this Market District Not any employee said a word Jay H

Does the trick. A bit pricey but selection is pretty solid. For general shopping, I usually go to Aldi for better prices right up the street. Market District has better speciality selection and I really enjoy their pre-made meals to buy in house. The wine and beer section has an okay selection to get what you need ahead of your event for the evening. I think prices here could be more competitive. I've spent more here on similar shopping occasions at Whole Foods.

Great convenient location from both the business area and residence. Yes, at the Covid 19 standpoint wear a mask. A word of the wise should be sufficient. Remember, this is a store and not a watering hole. Buy alcohol beverages responsibily. MADD is working overtime on a undercover basis. All eyes on the GETGO brand. They have been getting really laxed with outside consumption.

Be aware: I was in this store on 9/24/20 and the store does not enforce its mask policy at all. All but one of the female employees working at the deli had their masks below their noses. The customers at the deli had their masks around their necks. I saw numerous other customer and employee mask violations throughout the store.
